I wasn’t the only one who read it wrong on their website. When I inquired which room of this theater my Grieg arrangement would have its world premiere, the gentlepeople behind the counter told me that concert did take place yesterday. I was a day late. Disappointed that I traveled this far only to miss my own world premiere still keeps me up at night.

Anyway, it’s time to look forward. There’s fun things to enjoy. For example, tomorrow:

Friday, Februari 23, on my parent’s birthday, In the Hall of the Mountain Swing will finally go live on Spotify and other music platforms! Not only that, it’ll be complemented with three never heard arrangements of the Peer Gynt Suite.

As you might have noticed, I’ve been doing a little vocaloid project that got out of hand. But no fear, there’s only one more coming and then I’m off to my usual shenanigans.

Giant Steps memes are coming back!

I’m surprised Giant Steps memes aren’t dead yet after years, but I got one (actually a few) in the pipelines. I hope to finish the one about my channel demonetisation first. Yes, I’m now officially part of the creators having been falsely demonetised bij YouTube. Hurray!

You know, when I do band gigs, there’s often a short round to introduce the band members about half-way through. When we hear our name, we play a few second long lick to enchant the audience.
But whenever the drummer plays this short groove, I never know whether they’re playing the intro of Toto’s Rosanna or if they’re doing the PurnHob jingle...
