According to the official Resident Evil website, multiple game titles will be featured during the showcase.

Resident Evil Showcase - Thursday, January 15. 2 pm PT.

CAPCOM has officially announced a Resident Evil Showcase with a new 15 second teaser. The teaser shows some new gameplay, including Grace using a gun in a first-person view and Leon parrying a chainsaw with an axe, similar to the knife parry in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.

This showcase will reveal more new information about Resident Evil Requiem.

Resident Evil Requiem will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27, 2026.

I tried the Requiem demo on Nintendo Switch 2 at the Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 last October. The game ran smoothly, although the graphics were understandably lower compared to the console and PC versions. I don't know the exact FPS, but the performance felt stable to me.

The demo content is the same as the PS5 and PC versions and only features Grace's section, and the performance was good in this part. I am really curious to see how well the game will run during Leon's gameplay sections on Nintendo Switch 2. I only tried the demo version, so I can’t confirm how smoothly the full game will run on Nintendo Switch 2.

Sadly, I can't share the Nintendo Switch 2 demo footage.

A Grace Ashcroft amiibo is set to be released for Nintendo Switch. Maybe we will get an official reveal during the Resident Evil Showcase, or could we even see a Leon amiibo as well?

21 years ago, on January 11, 2005, Resident Evil 4 was released exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube in North America.
It later launched in Japan on January 27, 2005, and in Europe on March 18, 2005.

Resident Evil Re:Verse (Biohazard RE:Verse) was a multiplayer title released as part of the 25th Anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise.
