About PRAGMATA (New Capcom IP)

In the near future, several years after humanity discovered lunum ore, researchers developed Lunafilament, a revolutionary material capable of replicating anything using data.

One day, all contact with the lunar research station dedicated to Lunafilament research was suddenly lost.

A response team was dispatched immediately, but a massive lunar quake struck soon after their arrival.

Hugh Williams, separated from his team, unconscious and badly injured, is discovered by a mysterious android in the form of a young girl.

She is a Pragmata, created using Lunafilament.

World War Z x The Walking Dead DLC

World War Z gets three new chapters featuring characters and locations from AMC’s The Walking Dead, coming January 2026 to PC, PlayStation & Xbox.

Experience a new campaign episode starring fan favorites Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Negan, and Michonne. Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus even return to voice their iconic roles. From the Prison to the Alexandria Safe-Zone and Grady Memorial Hospital, you’ll fight to survive against a new breed of "Zeke" swarms, inspired by the slower, yet equally lethal, Walkers from The Walking Dead.

Finally, a new chapter for this game! I will definitely be playing this in January. 😉

Resident Evil Requiem - GameMeca Interview with Resident Evil Requiem producer Masato Kumazawa:

➤ The meaning of “Requiem” is different for each character: for Grace, it represents her mother’s past and paying tribute to Raccoon City’s lost people; for Leon, its meaning will unfold as you play.

➤ The game’s story centers on Grace and Leon, exploring Grace’s past with her mother and Leon’s secrets, and how both connect to the Raccoon City incidents.

➤ Grace is described as very fearful, yet she’s an FBI agent who analyzes crime scenes, and her growth beyond fear is a major part of her character appeal.

➤ Producer Masato Kumazawa said players might be curious about Raccoon City’s state and how it got that way. So a spin-off detailing the story and the process by which the city reached its current state would be nice, but there are no plans for that at the moment.

➤ Playable time is split roughly 50/50 between Grace and Leon, and their stories are connected into one unified narrative (not separate campaigns like in RE6).

➤ Grace and Leon don’t move around independently, they will meet and separate within the story, but won’t journey side-by-side like Leon and Ashley in RE4.

➤ Grace’s portion focuses more on survival horror with limited resources, so you won’t simply be able to shoot everything in your path.

➤ An important gun featured on the steelbook cover is a key weapon used by both characters, and its significance will be shared later.

➤ The horror level aims to feel similar to RE2 Remake, scary and tense, but not as extreme as RE7. They avoid scenes that fully freeze the player in fear.


➤ You can enjoy Resident Evil Requiem even without playing previous RE games, but prior titles (especially RE2 and RE3 Remakes) enhance the experience. Knowing that Leon was involved in the Raccoon City incident about 30 years before the game is enough context.

➤ As for the series’ future, Requiem isn’t the end, Capcom has plans to continue the franchise, and the 30th anniversary timing is a coincidence as the series shifts into a new generation.

🔹 Leon S. Kennedy and Grace are the only two playable characters. Other secondary characters will be revealed as players progress through the game.

🔹 Grace’s gameplay is modeled after the survival horror style of the RE2 Remake, while Leon’s gameplay is based on the action-oriented RE4 Remake, featuring martial arts and close-range combat.

🔹 This marks Leon’s first appearance as a main protagonist since Resident Evil 6. The story explores an older, more experienced Leon in the year 2026, a man who still strives to save others despite the persistent failure to eradicate bioterrorism.

🔹 Leon’s skills have evolved from his amateur days in RE2 Remake to his veteran status in RE4 and RE6. Requiem showcases his peak proficiency, introducing new elements (including a military tomahawk) built upon the RE4 Remake foundation.

🔹 The story follows a single continuous timeline where players alternate between Leon and Grace. While they interact in cinematic cutscenes, they remain separated during gameplay to maintain their distinct atmosphere.

🔹 A central plot element named "Elpis" referencing the "hope" or "misfortune" found at the bottom of Pandora’s Box, links the death of Grace’s mother to a secret Leon is hiding.

🔹 Dual Protagonist Experience: The game is split almost equally (50/50) between the two leads. It aims for a cycle of "tension and relaxation" similar to the first Resident Evil Revelations, contrasting Grace’s intense horror with Leon’s exhilarating action.

🔹 Leon returns to Raccoon City for the first time since RE2 Remake with a "handsome older man" (ikeoji) design. His signature sarcasm and wit are even sharper with age.

🔹 The game supports both third-person and first-person views. Adjusting Leon's high-speed action for both perspectives was a significant technical challenge for the team.

🔹 Leon drives a specially customized Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. The developers teased that, in classic Resident Evil fashion, the vehicle's ultimate fate remains to be seen.

🔹 Despite Leon being at his strongest, the developers state he will be "cornered more than ever before" and forced to challenge his physical and mental limits.

🔹 More gameplay will be shown at the Capcom SHOWCASE in January 2026.
