15 years ago, on June 2, 2011, RESIDENT EVIL: THE MERCENARIES 3D was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan. It was my first-ever Nintendo 3DS game! I pre-ordered it so I could play it right on release week.

The game cartridge also included a demo for Resident Evil Revelations, as a bonus. This game featured an online co-op mode where you could play with random players. That is why I was so hooked on it, I always played it after school.

RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM Launch Event in Jakarta, Indonesia.

I visited Jakarta a few months ago on Feb 28 (I was in Jakarta for less than 24 hours after a 1-hour 45-minute flight from my city :D) to attend the official RE Requiem launch event, and I just uploaded the video highlight on this channel: https://youtu.be/ysjX35YaW6M

Resident Evil Requiem launch event took place in Jakarta at the Mini Atrium (LG) of Gandaria City Mall from February 28 to March 1, 2026. This event featured a game demo area, a "Zombie Hunting Ground" shooting range (with a wooden pistol/soft rubber ammo), Raccoon City (R.P.D.) Photo Spot, RE characters vote, official merch booth and cosplay walk.

This event was proudly hosted by Capcom Singapore (‪@capcomasia‬) and The Lazy Monday (‪@TheLazyMondayGaming‬) with Yudha from ‪@Resiloreid‬ and ‪@DetectiveAldo‬ as the stage hosts.

Just as you asked, CAPCOM has finally released the RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM public DEMO... months after we all already bought and finished the full game.

This is different from the early builds demo shown at Gamescom, TGS 2025, and Gamescom Asia. This is literally just the same as the full release version and allows you to play part of the game’s early stages as Grace Ashcroft & Leon S. Kennedy in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center.

You guys can download it for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and the Epic Games Store.

Yesterday, Sony Pictures Entertainment officially revealed 2 new posters for the upcoming new Resident Evil live-action movie.

Sony Pictures Entertainment also released a new behind the scenes video where Zach Cregger talks survival horror and his vision for Resident Evil, including some new footage from the movie. You can check it out now on the ‪@sonypictures‬ channel.

The new Resident Evil reboot film will be released on September 18 in theaters, and it will also be available in IMAX.
