Somni, Kasumi's voice actress, is currently running a Gofundme to get urgent medical care for her cat Obi. Obi has FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) which has a 95% fatality rate, and is desperately raising funds to try and save him. If subscriber donated even just $1 each, Obi would be practically guaranteed a more than successful recovery. I know Somni loves Obi so much, and we would all be so grateful if he recovered. Even if you can't spare much, please consider donating anything at all. If you can't donate, please don't feel guilty - you can help by sharing this with others or on social media. Hey everyone! It's that time again where we're opening up some artist slots for the Danganrebirth-Voices team again! This time, we're looking for artists who can draw in the CG artstyle, with a specific focus on executions. You can grab the details down below:
- All applicants must have a Discord account, as this is how we communicate with each other.
- You must be at least 13 years old or older.
- We do not mind you deviating from the Danganronpa CG artstyle, and obviously we may still select you even if it's not 100% accurate! As long as we can identify it as similar to the canon artstyle, you'll be fine.
- We do not have a set amount of artists in mind that we want to accept, this will depend heavily on the quality of the submissions given to us.
- As an execution artist, you will not be animating it at all, so don't worry about that! You also won't be working alone on the whole thing, as we're lucky enough to already have some artists who can work with you in that style.
- If you want to provide examples of other Danganronpa styled artworks, for example sprites, splash art, etc - feel free to, but do note that we will be looking at your attempts at the CG artstyle first and foremost. It's always good to have variety, but we do have other artists working in these areas already!
- You would preferably be able to separate finished layers and be able to send them to me for animation (eg. eyes, fingers, etc). This isn't a deal breaker because as it stands, we're still unsure if we're going to fully animate our executions or just use storyboards, as it all depends on what the artists we recruit can do.
- The due date for submissions is two weeks from now, on May 4 00:00 EST. Any application submitted after this will not be considered.
