Hi everyone! Name change for the channel happened late last night and I didn’t address it in my video. Will still be having very similar content here but realized I needed to bring my names more in alignment and make it simpler and more personal. I nest wherever I go and that includes my desk. I believe everyone deserves a safe space that’s just for them.

My latest video was filmed before yesterday’s switch so I don’t address it yet. But all my other brand names use the word Sanctuary so I just was kind of shocked it didn’t come to me sooner. And I got into a flow state and created a new intro and outro which I had been wanting to do for some time.

So I’m sorry for any confusion! It was just time. I hope it inspires you to build your own sanctuary however it fits best for you. ✨

I FINALLY have my Patreon up and running! 

My freshly squeezed podcast episode is up there (early access) as I relaunch it this year. There is a free and paid tier up there now.

I am also waiting for approval for memberships here on YouTube, which should be within the next day.

It’s been a while! We just moved, arrived on Monday and still adjusting to this time zone, but I do have my new desk I will be setting up in the next day or so, along with a new light and microphone stand. So excited to return to filming oh so soon! And have more space to do it :) Now off to building furniture.

Since my last video covered two weeks, no video this week! I was hoping to get a desk set up while I was here, but my body had other plans. I am going to try and film some behind the scenes thoughts and plans. I’m halfway into my trip here and taking a day to not focus on the move details and rehydrate. My body has been constantly on call with deliveries as if I miss one of the big ones I will have to use an uber to go collect at a pickup point, which is definitely not the end of the world, just trying to avoid it. We are happy to sell our cars, and so much is right here near us, but it is something to wrap our heads around. Yesterday was our 22nd wedding anniversary and my husband sent flowers from down the street. Was expecting a mattress delivery at the exact same time so it was quite a surprise. Sleeping on the floor and really happy with the mattress. Still light at nearly 11pm. Found a kitty on my walk to get groceries. The new view out the window from where my desk would be. And getting a coffee maker we really wanted. I am still in disbelief shaking my head that this is all real. It’s so hard to hear about what is happening in the US and celebrating our achievements here. I really want to be sharing this all with my husband and son, and soon we will. There is still a lot to take care of at home and stuff that we want to get rid of. Seeing all of this starting to come together is a great reminder to leave most of it behind. We have to. And we will. There will be heartaches as we leave, of course. Right now, it’s just one step at a time. 🌷
