This weeks marks FIVE years of TheDigiKnow! Half a decade on YouTube!

I published my first Digimon Adventure reboot review in Spring 2020, stuck at home in search of a new hobby. I watched the first few reboot episodes and wanted to share my thoughts but had no one around who wanted to listen to me yap about Digimon. 😅

I'm generally pretty good about thinking ahead, having a '5 Year Plan' etc but I can honestly say when I started doing this I did NOT have April 2025 on my mind. 260 videos, 15 million views, 55K channel subscribers, and a great community of thoughtful commenters. It's beyond anything I was picturing when I hit record in April 2020.

Thanks for supporting me, the kid who always had more to say about cartoons than the other kids cared to listen to!

DOTMON UPDATE! My anime inspired novel, Dot Monster ReVolution, is now available at A&C Games in Toronto! The in-store copies are all signed!!

This is one of my fav stores in the world for retro games, card games, anime merch. Case in point: I bought this new Draciel beyblade while dropping off the books LOL. I don't think I have too many Canadian viewers but if you're in Ontario, this is an option now.

Okay, now back to working on the G-Revolution review!

Hey DigiPals! A quick merry christmas, happy holidays, and happy new year from me!

This was quite an interesting year for the channel! With no anime or movie in sight, 2024 was about redefining this channel. 2020-2023 TheDigiKnow was all quick reviews of a weekly anime — either Adventure 2020 or Ghost Game — with some bonus side content now and then.

2024 was expanding that side content! The Digimon cafe IRL, our exploration of OG Beyblade, revisiting Digimon movies and comics like Liberator, explaining weird crossovers like Beyblade X Frieren and Medabots X Digimon!

Of course it was also the year I self published my debut novel, the monster tamer tribute story DOT MONSTER REVOLUTION! I’ve gotten such great feedback and am so happy that so many of you are enjoying it. Link to where to buy it and read the first 20 pages will be in the pinned comment.
