Yeng Constantino Files: 3 Facts Na Dapat Mong Malaman 🎸
1. Born Josephine Eusebio Constantino on December 4, 1988 sa Rodriguez, Rizal — the youngest of five siblings na naging isa sa pinaka-iconic voices ng OPM! Nag-audition siya para sa Pinoy Dream Academy noong August 27, 2006 at naging Grand Star Dreamer ng show — a win that launched her straight into a recording deal with Star Music and set the foundation for everything that followed. After 17 years with Star Music, Yeng acquired the rights to her entire catalog — including "Cool Off" — becoming the owner of her own music legacy! Patunay na hindi siya tumitigil — she owns her past and is boldly writing her future 💪
2. Co-written ni Yeng kasama si Davey Ryan Edward Langit, "Cool Off" was released in 2007 under ABS-CBN Film Productions and Star Music, as part of her debut album Salamat — isa sa pinaka-unang songs na nagpatunay ng kanyang songwriting power at ng bagong era ng kanyang career na sisimulan niya! The song explores the emotional complexity ng isang "cool off" — hindi breakup, hindi okay — yung matamis-mapait na gray area ng paghahanap ng sarili habang mahal mo pa rin siya. 💔
3. Bilang songwriter at musician, Yeng has earned over 70 awards and recognitions, including 7 Awit Awards, 5 PMPC Star Awards for Music, 1 FAMAS Award at 9 Myx Music Awards — at hindi lang musika ang kanyang domain! She also took home Best Supporting Actress at the MMFF 2019 for Write About Love. Add to that her 350 million+ career streams on Spotify and hundreds of million of views on YouTube, at makikita mo kung bakit siya ang tunay na Pinoy Pop Rock Royalty! 👑
TOWER FAM! 🎸 Salamat sa response niyo sa FitterKarma episode! Iba ang indie-tinged rock feels! 🙌 Pero di pa tayo tapos... may bagong pasabog na naman bukas! Ready na ba kayo? Drop your theories sa comments! 🤔 Kita kits! #TowerSessions#NewEpisode
FACT CHECK: FITTERKARMA Edition! 🌹 3 Things To Know
1. fitterkarma started out as a solo project by Joao De Leon noong 2019 under the name "Joao". The rebranding to "fitterkarma" happened in 2023, partly because the name "Joao" was more difficult to pronounce or market. The band name "fitterkarma" is a Radiohead tribute — pinagsama ang titles ng dalawang tracks mula sa iconic OK Computer album ng 1997: "Fitter Happier" at "Karma Police." 🎵
2. Benilde-born and bred! The band was formed in 2023 by students from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde's music production program — Joao De Leon, Soph Miranda, LORY at si Ders Sayas na patuloy pa ring nag-aaral doon. Literal na pinag-aralan ang craft nila, and it shows in every song! 🎓
3. "maryclaire" features a live string quartet — violinists Leigh Cellano at Dylan Abejero, violist Kriszen Ampalayo, at cellist Patrick Espanto — na nagbibigay ng orchestral depth sa kanilang signature dark alt-rock sound. The song itself is a haunting ode to the Maria Clara archetype, exploring themes of unconditional devotion and destined love. 🎻
TOWER FAM! 🤘 Grabe, salamat sa response niyo sa Faspitch episode! Solid ang energy at pagmamahal niyo! 💥 Pero hindi pa tayo tapos... New episode drops tomorrow! Excited na ba kayo? Share your guesses below! 🤔 Kita kits BUKAS! #TowerSessions#NewEpisode
1. Faspitch was formed in 2000 sa Cebu City, emerging from the underground rock scene — and they've been making noise ever since, earning two Awit Awards along the way! 🏆
2. This performance marks Faspitch's first-ever appearance on Tower Sessions, and they're bringing one of their most powerful songs to the stage — "Flame." Both melodic and heavy, it's exactly the kind of track that reminds you why this band has been a cornerstone of Philippine rock for over two decades. 🌟
3. "Flame" was first released as a digital single on August 18, 2019 under Tower of Doom Music, with the official music video dropping on September 10, 2019. The video was a full creative collaboration between Faspitch, Tower of Doom, Nemesis Music Group, and 8th Street Cinema — with the concept itself brainstormed in a meeting that included the band's manager Gabby Alipe. The production was split between two directing teams: Carlo Perlas helmed the performance shots, while Andrei Antonio led the narrative sequences — and the whole thing launched to a packed house at 70's Bistro! 🎥
4. "Flame" runs deeper than your average Faspitch track. Henry Allen wrote it as part of a deeply personal, interconnected story about his own past struggles with addiction — one that stretches across all the songs they recorded with Tower of Doom. "Skin" opened that story, painting the image of a man looking into the mirror and no longer recognizing himself. "Flame" picks up right where it left off. Allen himself calls the two an inseparable tandem — and the bigger picture is still unfolding. 🔥
1. Chicosci has been active since 1999 — almost 30 years of reinventing Pinoy rock, from nu-metal and rap-metal roots to post-hardcore and emo! The band was originally known as Chico Science before becoming Chicosci — their debut record Revenge of the Giant Robot was a landmark release in 2000 that established them as forerunners of the new generation of Pinoy rock. 🤘
2. 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Chicosci's self-titled white album! For their sold-out concert, the band showed up in all white, staged the entire set like a funeral — coffin, floral arrangements, backup singers in blood red hoods — a full visual tribute to the aesthetic of that iconic white album era! 🌹
3. "A Promise" is a song about grief, love, and memory, and it has become well-known among fans as a tribute to loved ones who have passed on. Miggy originally wrote the lyrics as a tribute for his grandfather, who had passed away shortly before recording the track. This personal and intimate interpretation of the song gives it a special meaning for those who have lost someone close to their heart. 🤍
