FINAL UPDATE ON CORRUPTION HOUR 5:

Hi everybody!

I'm sorry for all these updates on the state of the Corruption Hour 5 compilation-video. There has been way too many.

All I want to say is that it is done! The rendering didn't crash at all, which I thought it would since while editing, I've gone thru at least 30 crashes. But yes, it is finally done!

If all goes to plan, it should be up some time tomorrow, saturday, (or early sunday depending on where you live). I've also made sure to make a backup of the video, just in case.

Thank you all for waiting and being so patient with this!

QUICK UPDATE (AGAIN):
Nevermind the previous update, I got it working. I purchased the license from their other site (Magix) and it actually worked fine. Full version is now active and I did a try-render of about 2 min. That test worked fine.
So, now, if nothing else goes wrong, the 5th Corrupted Hour compilation will be up sometime this weekend.

Again, thank you all for waiting so long for this. Not that it is anything special, but still, thank you very much!

A (HOPEFULLY) SMALL ISSUE WITH CORRUPTED HOUR 5!

Hi everybody!
I have some good news and bad news.
The good news is that the Corrupted Hour 5 compilation basically is done. All I have left is to render it, (and hope it doesn't crash when doing so.) However...
This is where the, hopefully, small problem is.
I've used the video software 'Sony Vegas Pro 21' for this compilation. I've always used SVP since I'm used to it. Up until now I've used the trial version of SVP 21 and today is the last day. I decided to purchase a license for it so I have the full version and could render the project. The problem is that whenever I click on "purchase" and gets directed to their site and select "Buy", I can never get further in. The purchase-site is continuously loading and I just can't get anywhere. I've tried for about an hour now and no luck. I've also tried multiple browsers and tried closing/opening them. It's entirely on their horrible site when purchasing.
So yes, until I can purchase a license, I can't get anywhere. And no, I'm not pirating the software.

So although I actually planned to have it up this weekend, this is something I no longer can guarantee.
Until their website when purchasing gets fixed or wants to start working again there's not much I can do.

Hopefuilly this won't take long, but I have no idea. It could take minutes, hours, days, weeks.
You never know.

I do however apologize for the wait, but again, there's nothing I can do.

I hope you all still have a wonderful day and/or night!

P.S: For those who're wondering why I just don't render it today while I still have a trail:
Well, back in the day, there was no limit during a trail, except the 30 day. Render and use as much as you want.
Now, however, they only allow you to render up to 2 min, and they even have a watermark on it, (I think).

UPDATE ON CORRUPTED HOUR 5! #2

Hi everybody!
Things are going along smoothly with the 5th Corrupted Hour compilation.
I said it would be done by Feb 14th. However, I just want to let you all know that it might take a few more days extra at least to get it ready. It seems that I hadn't gathered enough clips yet, (although I've added in about 140 already.)
So I have to see if I can find some extra good ones.
The video itself is already up to about 53 min already, so yes, I'm getting there! Woooh!
The video editing software I'm using, (Sony Vegas Pro) has at times been a headache to work with though. Up till now it has crashed about 30 times, (and that's me being generous.)

Sooo yeah, sorry for the delay.
Here's also hoping that SVP don't crash when it comes to render the final video.
With all this said, thank you all for staying around and I hope you all have wonderful day and/or night!

TL;DR:
Short delay, not enough clips.

UPDATE ON CORRUPTED HOUR 5!

Good news everyone!
I'm pretty sure I've now gathered all the 100+ clips that I want and need for the 5th Corrupted Hour compilation. Sorry that it has taken so long, but as stated before, I had to start from scratch again. I was quite far into it already but then that PC crashed, and since I had no backup, I had to start fresh again.
There is some positive with that whole experience. The main thing being that the new PC is way more powerful, so it shouldn't take as long to get it finished. It should also be in somewhat higher quality, (1080p60, instead of 720p60).
My plan is to have it finished around Valentines Day. Just my way of randomly expressing love for all of you who actually sticks around for this. It really do mean a lot!
However, again, I plan to have it done by then. I do apologize in advance if anything happens that may delay it.
I've so far edited in roughly 3 min of it, so I'm not that far in. I still have the same issue as with the old PC, and that is the editing software. I used Sony Vegas Pro before and use it now as well, although an newer version. The issue is random crashing. So far I've only had that happen once, so I do hope it doesn't happen too much.

Sorry for such a long text.
TL;DR: The Vinesauce Corrupted Hour 5 compilation should be done by Valentine's Day.

I hope that YOU have an amazing day and/or night!

Thank YOU!

CORRUPTED HOUR 5, WHERE IS IT?

So, where is "[Vinesauce] Vinny - The Corrupted Hour 5 (Compilation)"?
As we all know, I'm really slow with getting these videos up, to say the least.
However, the way it was going, I was going to have the 5th one up at around Christmas as latest.
I had gathered about 40-45 min of clips from tons of videos and all was going well.
However, that PC I was working on and has done a lot of my work on, recently just died on me.
It happened less than two weeks ago. I was just surfing around on it when I just heard a huge "bang" and the electricity just cut out.
Fixing the electricity was easy enough. Just had to turn the breakers up/on again. However, since then, that PC refuses to boot up. It doesn't respond when clicking on the Standby-button.
I've tried everything from disconnecting/reconnecting, switching cables, outlets, etc, to no avail.

The good news though is that I have my new PC up and running now.
The PC is a:
* 13th Gen i7 13700KF 3.4 Ghz.
* Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
* 32 GB Ram, DDR5, 12 dedicated.
* 2 TB SSD storage.
It is a beast compared to that old one, which was:
* Much older i7, 3 Ghz.
* Nvidia GeForce GTX 970.
* 8 GB Ram, DDR3, 4 dedicated.
* 2 TB storage.
Which also means it will be easier and faster when it comes to editing, rendering and all that.
However, this new PC is not perfect. About a month after I got it, it started acting up by not booting up and instead beep in like a morse code, (1 long, 3 short).
It currently seems to be fixed, but yeah, you never now.
I still also don't have every program setup and I still have to gather all those clips since I have no backup of them whatsoever.
So I'm basically starting from scratch again, which is a pain. It also makes me not wanting to go thru with it right now.
I will get a 5th one up, but it will take a much, much longer time now.
I'm sorry to everyone who was waiting for the 5th one.
The good thing is though that there are tons of compilations out there, who I'd argue is way better than mine.
So I'd absolutely recommend checking them out.
Again, sorry about this. Sorry that I'm slow on getting these out and sorry that you have to wait longer for another one from me.
With all this said, I hope that YOU have an awewsome day!
