Hey friends!

I am sad to report today is my last day of vacation. I have had a wonderful, fulfilling, and connective time. I know we all wish life could be a vacation but then I guess it wouldn’t feel like vacation.

I wanted to post a rough draft of what you can expect from me in August. Reading along with my mood, changes from time to time but these are my intentions! Let me know what you’re looking forward to!

hi friends,

I have been holding this information in for a while but I talked about it in my most recent video. I have officially launched a Patreon!! I have posted paid content before, and my vision for this is very different.

I have created a podcast called "Read With Me," (patreon.com/readwithmepodcast) where I will be deep diving into some of the books I read each month. These podcast episodes are longer, spoiler filled reviews. The reason I called it "Read With Me," is to reflect the idea of the podcast being buddy reading but at your own time and pace. In these episodes, I dive into not only my thoughts as I read the book but also draw parallels to my own life and experiences.

The majority of the episodes will be long form, spoiler reviews. However, I have included an extended edition of my May TBR that talk more about the books I'm hoping to read, what I hope to get out of them and behind the scenes discussions about the videos I have planned coming out.

I'm taking this one day at a time and things are subject to change but here are some of the episodes I hope to cover in the first three months.

Already Uploaded: Gifted and Talented, The Staircase in the Woods, and May TBR extended edition
May: My Friends by Fredrick Backman, Disappoint Me by Nicola Dinan, June TBR extended edition
June: Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid, With Vengeance by Riley Sager, Bury Our Bones in Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab, Kill Your Darlings by Peter Swanson
July: Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson, The Bewitching by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, My Ex the Antichrist by Craig DiLouie, Smile for the Cameras by Miranda Smith, August TBR extended edition

Creating content, slowing down, thinking deeply about books is my hope for this space. I do that on Youtube and will continue to keep my content the same there. There are so many good books coming out this year, I can't wait to cover them on both Youtube and Patreon.

Thank you all so much for your support and tuning into my videos. <3

How much of a Booktubers (specifically these videos) background influences your enjoyment of the video?

I have wondered about this for years……
