YouTube Age Restricts 'Das Boot' dive sequence clip. https://youtu.be/uJHOMmc9030
Those insane, unaccountable censors at YouTube placed an 18+ certificate for 'Das Boot' emergency dive alarm sequence. I appealed. They refused to reconsider. Un-fucking-believable. This is what they say: "After reviewing your content, we've determined that Das Boot (1981) – Alarm!! Extended Cut [English subtitles] should continue to be age-restricted, as we don't think it's suitable for younger audiences". I mean, for fuck's sake, how could an under 18 person be negatively impacted by a practice dive alarm sequence without any depiction of violence?

Deleted films. How YouTube censorship works and why some films on this channel were removed.
1. “Operation Ellalan: Symbol of Supreme Sacrifice”. This film was produced by the now-defeated terrorist group, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). After two years of being available, copyright was claimed by an Indian company, Silly Monks Entertainment Ltd. They refused to explain how they obtained copyright from defeated terrorists. I deleted the film rather than generate revenue for Silly Monks. Fuck ‘em.
2. “Hitler's Jewish Soldiers”, is a fascinating documentary about German Jews who served in the Wehrmacht. Copyright was claimed by director, Larry Price, which is his right. The film will never be seen on YouTube. His loss, not mine.
3. Decolonisation. Parts 1, 2 & 3. Blocked due to copyright claim by copyright owners ALPA. 
4. Extreme Prejudice (1987) Title sequence. A celebration of the brilliance of the title sequence of this superb film, blocked by those geniuses at Lionsgate, Studiocanal & Tele München Fernsehen. Good work lads. Now, even fewer people will be introduced to this superb film and your royalty revenues will suffer. 
In all cases, it's impossible to contact YouTube or speak to a real person about these issues. The sooner YouTube is nationalised, the better it'll be for the world.

I just wanted to say a sincere and heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who’s uploaded subtitles on this channel. I don’t know who you are. I don’t know how to honour your contribution. So, again, thank you. If anyone knows how to identify who uploaded subtitles, please let me know! For example, the documentary, “Krautrock - The Rebirth of Germany”, now has English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese subtitles.
