So…be honest guys what dya think to the new song with @goldlink ? I’ve been insanely nervous/excited about this cuz it’s my first release since the Reflections EP nearly a year ago! Huge thank you to @Spotify for the new music Friday playlists adds in UK and Japan and to everyone that has already streamed it 20,000+ times! When I recorded the original version 5 years ago I’d just been dropped and was broke as sh** so I kinda rushed it on a ridiculously low budget which has always bugged me. I released it independently and at the time I had no idea I’d be playing it on James Corden a month later or that it would become my biggest song. I can’t tell you how nice it feels to be in a position to finally re-record it again properly with a budget the way I always intended it to sound in my head and then having such a legend like GoldLink nail the verse just takes it to that next level! Make sure to tell everyone you know in your whole life to stream it till the cows come home!! 😂
