Prissy's Perspective

Navigating through life with faith, flaws and a fresh perspective.

Prissy's Perspective

People say, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” but I’ve learned that sometimes, even when things aren’t broken, change is still necessary. Growth requires movement. Comfort can be the quiet enemy of progress.

I remember reading "Who Moved My Cheese?" years ago such a simple story, yet it hit me hard. It taught me not to get too comfortable or not to be complacent. The “cheese” changes, and we can either complain about it or move with it.

Spiritually, that’s how God works too. He doesn’t let us stay stuck in one place forever. Sometimes He moves the “cheese” to push us toward something greater. Change stretches our faith, grow our character, and realign our steps with His plan.

So no, it’s not always about fixing what’s broken, sometimes it’s about preparing for what’s next.

Keep moving, keep trusting, and don’t be afraid to go find your new cheese.
