Just ordered a new Storm Super Nova! I’ll be making a comparison video looking at the difference between my entry-level Global 900 Burner Solid, which is a weak symmetrical ball, to the new hook monster that is the Storm Super Nova, a strong asymmetrical high performance ball. Stay tuned!
Going old school, and changed the name back to my original “Pops Place Garage”. New content coming that will include more garage projects, and there’s something special coming. Can anyone guess what it is? Might not be what you think! But it’s going to be good!!
Impromptu Darth Vader costume for this weekend. I’m a Star Wars nerd, so already had the helmet and accessories lol. Just made a foam shoulder armor and added a cape. Happy Halloween Everybody!
Thinking of switching to the 2 Handed Bowling style, or at least a 2 Finger one handed. I have some issues in my wrist that’s holding me back 1 handed. May drill my new ball differently and give that a shot. 🤔
Went to practice again today at our local spot, but the lanes were so burnt that I didn’t see an oil track on a ball all night. Not a fan of the glow bowl lights either, gotta find a better time or spot. Had to roll straight to keep it between the gutters, but worked on my approach and had a breakthrough. Started about 15” farther back behind the dots I always step up to, and started my swing earlier on my first step of the 4 step approach. Ball speed just about doubled!

Rolled a best game of 194 tonight for a new personal high score. Figuring out this new Storm Super Nova, finding my groove.
