Well, so far so good on the whole COPPA thing... I still have MOST of my videos "for kids" and will relax that as time goes by. I'm 99% sure they won't come after me because I don't make money, but I'm playing cautious for now. As for new videos, I think the disclaimers make my intentions very clear.

Why haven't I uploaded anything lately?


Honestly, I'm waiting to see if COPPA is the be all, end all that we believe it will be. I'm still here and I'm still making videos, but I'm holding off on uploading until we see how this change hurts the community. Maybe it won't be so bad? All I'm worried about is that if my channel is now marked "for kids" will the comments on the videos already be lost? I would actually cry.


Anyway... Happy New Year, y'all! Hopefully I'll be back to uploading next year! As always, thank you for your support!

UPDATE:: First off, thank you for the outpouring of support to this channel!

For now, the channel WILL STAY! I will mark my videos "for kids." This means that I will have to lose my comment section. Hopefully they fix this mess before that happens. The lower viewership won't chase me away... I swear! Since I don't make money here, my philosophy is as long as one person is watching, I'll still do this.

PLEASE sign the petitions and comment on the COPPA website and let them know how this is hurting youtubers and viewers alike.

Hey guys... so, here's the thing. I'm considering deleting this channel. It's been a good ride, but I don't want to be here when things start going down. It's a hard choice, but I think it's the best option. Making videos has been an absolute blast and I've had a lot of fun on YouTube, but this... I have 200+ videos on my channel and I can't get into a lawsuit for this.
