Started this channel as a hyper fixation a few years back. I now make analysis videos on the sport of Ninja Warrior, which is a huge passion of mine. I take the time necessary to make all my videos worth the watch. How do you justify long videos, simple, Make them worth people's while. There is no judgement here, just speak your mind, it's what I'm doing.
We are comming back from hiatus now, and will be pumping out new vids into the new season, so stay tunned! (Keep in eye out for when new vids are set to premiere)

I mean I'm not complaining but why is this video doing so well! Can we keep pushing it so more people can find the channel?! *Wink *wink *nudge *nudge

Since the back-to-back filming for seasons 19 and 20 was announced, I've had the idea of talking about my feelings towards the two seasons going back to back and on the fact that applied for what was season 19 and so far have not gone on a call and I'm pretty sure I'm not getting in at this point. As someone whos been wanting to go on the show for years and this is my second time applying after applying for season 18 last year, there's a lot of feelings I want to talk about relating to this. However, I am going back and forth between if want to make it a video or a long community post with people to read if they want. So I'm going to make a pole for it. Let me know what you guys would rather see for it, this will probably be open for like the next week or so as I also plan to talk about it the podcast episode coming up soon.

If the compilation from yesterday is anything to go by then there will be a lot of activity coming forward now that S18 is over. The next Podcast Episode is planned for 9/13 unless I am able to get it out sooner, and it will cover the final two episodes and all the S19/S20 news. Get ready! Lots are coming.
Also SPOILERS,
but Congrats to Josiah Pippel on Winning this season! Also dam this is one of the best winner shots I've seen. Josiah may have lucked out, but his performance can not be understated, If I'm not mistaken he is the only athlete this season to never ever get wet or fail a course (him and Kai are now the only people with that distinction despite them running 10 (or 11 in Josiah's case) times on the courses these past two seasons.

I will defiantly drive this point to the drain in the next Podcast episode, but here's a digestible Compilation while the episode is still kinda new.

Time to briefly speak on ANW 18 episode 12, aka the first part of the final 32, we are in the end game now!
Rating: 7.5/10
I found it hard to give this episode a rating, because I like a lot of it's races, but there are a lot of little things that contribute to me being annoyed with this years final 32. For example the course is way to prone to error. I'd argue the big appeal of the racing is the tension of having to favorites going against one another and only one of them being able to make it out, and to me, feeling like I have to pick a side before it begins. However if it's so easy to fail (mostly with the sky hooks, Cane Lane and the new Road Signs) then it makes a lot of these tight matchups end in a wimper when one athlete falls quickly, especially if I want is a close race, not just to see my preferred favorite move on. I highly prefer my unpreferred winner getting it if the race is close and the effort from the favorite feels valiant, I really only got that once in this episode and the lack of that I felt like hurt it. I also don't like them fast forwarding final 32 matchups. I get that it's to avoid conflict with the women's championship being shubed into the finale, however it ruins my want to pick a favorite when the editing makes it really obvious what will go down. for having some of the highest highs of the season I do like this episode, but it's brought down from the course and editing contributing to a less suspensible set of finals then they could be.

So the Sasuke World Cup 2 is out! so to the people who have seen it or will see it: DON'T SPOIL IT FOR ME!
Anyway I wanted to talk about the World Cup today and some thing's with the channel's immediate future.
First off, by some fluke of a probability, I actually got to see episode 12 of ANW 18 yesterday, so I will be sharing my non-spoiler review via a post tomorrow. However this does not mean talking about it and the finale, airing next week, is any closer than I previously said, since I'll need to see both, and then do the whole process for making the video, so I still will be fairly late with both episodes. That's the main thing I want to discuss though. I will probably be very quiet here for a little bit (like with making post like this). Since I can't see the ANW 18 finale I will not be interacting with the ninja community (like looking on the sub reddit and checking my Instagram) much to avoid spoilers. I also want to shift focus from this channel to other avenues in my life.
Don't worry though, I do plan to start posting ANW 14 highlights, probably 2-3 a day, in the gap time. Yeah, I'm not lying this time, it's actully going to start shortly, It will give the channel some exposure and I hope they can reach new fans (like the ANW 13 highlights I did way back then) and bring them to the long form content that I enjoy making more. Also there will be a new montage update in that time too (one that I have been needing to update for 5 years!) and same for that video, with it hopefully reaching a bunch of new fans.
With that said if you want to support the channel and what I do: subscribe and share all the new videos out to others. basically the more people who see the videos, the more youtube will share my videos on the algorithm, and that is what I want the most. for more people to see them, and enjoy them (or even respectfully dislike them). I want to make YouTube a career for myself, and your guys' help will help bring that to requisition, so Thank you to anyone who's been watching the content and/or all subscribed. (Also the faster we get to 3k, the faster the stage 5 ninja awards for season 13 can come out.)
So aside from my post tomorrow, this is my last speaking to you guys until things get moving again, so stay frosty, and have fun with the highlights. I hope many will enjoy the continuous output!
Also why the image: Because I love Daniel Gil, now don't question it!

Attention! Super long podcast episode premiering tomorrow!
Also here's my episode reviews for episodes 10 & 11 (my last two for a while since I won't get to see the final two episodes for a bit)
Episode 10:
Rating: 9/10
Two courses that work inspire of their flaws. The same critiques from lat year of awkward choices that are weird for racing, however this time they still produce great races so who am I to complain at this point. This episode was carried by close races and some of the best matches in years, plus tons of drama. If you have been skipping out on this season I would actually recommend giving this episode a shot, because it is intense!
Episode 11:
Rating: 7.5/10
Lots of tight matchups still, but ruined by constant falls. While last episode felt carried by close buzzer beaters and fast editing, this episode losses the buzzer beaters and just has the editing. It also is sloppy to cover up lots of course drama BTS and in general it is just a less entertaining package. Still a fun watch on a basic level so, it's fine.

Now back to ANW 18, I am working on the podcast episode for episodes 10 and 11. The current plan is to have it go up on Sunday the 23rd which is the day before I have to leave to go back to school. From there there's definitely going to be a hiatus of maybe 2 to 3 weeks till we come back for the finale. Like I said in the previous podcast episode & in my previous community post, I'm going to need some time to settle back into my school and then need to get together with my co-hosts to record the final two episodes of season 18 and then I need time to edit it, as you guys saw, the hope is have that come out during the first half of September. At least let's say 9/13 hopefully. I can't guarantee that but that's my plan at the moment and I'll give you guys strategic updates up until that point.
In terms of the podcast episode coming up later this week, everything's going okay and unless something comes up last minute you guys should be seeing it when I said, 8/23.
In terms of the highlights starting for season 14, I decided to hold them back so that way I can have them released while I'm in between living situations, so you guys will probably start seeing them sometime next week or the following week?, I haven't decided quite yet. They won't be much, but they'll at least hold the channel over until I'm able to wrap up our coverage of season 18.
To make another statement on the Sasuke world cup 2 I am super excited to see it, however it will be a little bit till I get the chance. I'm going to be busy focusing on school as well as getting you guys the podcast episode for episodes 12 and 13 of season 18. The world cup will be the top priority after that episode comes out, so the best I could probably do for you guys is still October at the moment on that. On a side note, I'd probably will end up talking about it once I end up seeing it on a post, and probably bring it up again when it ends up airing in a few days in Japan. Me and my co-hosts will try our best to see it as soon as we can and get a recording done as soon as we can, however, unfortunately I'm not too sure when that will be beyond what I just said, nothing exact at the moment and it probably won't be that way for a little bit.
I think that's about it. So if everything goes according to plan I will see you guys on the 23rd for the next podcast episode!

So I was recently sent notice from Cristal that YouTube just doubled their monetization requirements from 4k watch hours to 8k starting on February 1st 2027. Now she's gonna be working against the clock to get her channel to qualify before everything doubles. If anyone wants to lend a hand, check her stuff out, I've helped on some videos and I tell you she makes great stuff. It just isn't ANW related, but that doesn't mean it aint great.
