Hey! My names Richard, I’m currently restoring a mk4 Golf VR6 which seems to be turning into and “nut and bolt” restoration 🤦🏼♂️
I have a supercharged VR6 mk2 Golf with a blown engine, it decided it was allergic to oil and dumped it all out of the exhaust.
I also have an Audi S5 daily which I’m doing little bits too, I should really sell it but can’t bring myself to write the advert 😂

If you saw my last post there was a wren nesting in the arch of my mk2 arch 😂🤦🏼♂️ her chicks have fledged the nest. So I’m going to try my hardest to upload the next mk2 golf video next weekend🤞🏼a good 7 or 8 mods under £100 each. Looking forward to doing this one 🙌🏼
Ive been keeping my self busy with some carbon skinning. Some parts might make it into the mk2 👀

Hey guys!
I’m in the process of recording the next mk2 video, I noticed a wren 🐦 has decided to nest in my drivers side arch and I was disturbing her, so until her chicks 🐣 have fledged the nest I can’t really finish that video, feel free to drop any ideas below of what you would like to see! 🤙🏼 appreciate it!

Big shoutout to @Dan_Pritchard_Carbon for the base coat tip when dealing with corners etc. I was struggling to get the corners to stay stuck down but after following Dan’s advice the mk2 Golf door pocket is looking amazing 🤌🏻 Really appreciate it mate!
Unrelated to the above☝🏼it was all going perfectly until the final resin coat (of course) the surface must have become contaminated when I degreased it and the final coat ‘fish eyed’ …. meaning more sanding for me to get it perfect 🤣 yaaaaay!
So hopefully bit more sanding, another resin coat, bit more wet sanding and then 2k clear and should be good 🤞🏼
If it ever stops raining this will be included in my next video of 6 or 7 mods all under £100 each 👍🏼
