Be ready for your parents, your ex, and old not so friendly friend to try to re-enter your life. The world can feel that energy and GOD is going to test whether you mean that or not. Over... And Over... AND OVER until it knows you mean it.
It's easy to proclaim change... It's harder to embody it. People will come around and try to change your mental on purpose just to test it. They see you moving differently and whether on purpose or not try to stop you in your tracks. Most people/things/spirits hate change and they hate to see you changing because they know they can't dwell within your center/circle anymore.
As my audience is changing on this channel. Less music artists and more listeners. Maybe even musicians that are turning to just listeners as time has passed I realize that giving quotes about just marketing music just doesn't land.
I'm also aware that as a music artist you're just a regular person that may need a bit of life advice and not just advice about marketing music....
Marketing yourself isn't just for musicians, or someone selling a product. As you move into the workforce or through the work force you have to realize that you are selling a product. The product IS YOUR TIME. You have the right to charge as much as you want (even if you don't think so). The problem is... People don't market why they're valuable or even know what their strengths truly are.
If you have a job or are looking for a new job you should be posting your day to days or value points/perspectives on Linkedin. Day in the life of a UPS driver.. Problems you face and how you solve them. Strong but positive suggestions to people looking for a job like yours and other things. (This is what I would be looking at as a small business employer myself).
We need problem solvers.. We need people that are excited about being good at what they do/they're doing. It's just a paycheck to you but a passion to someone else. As the times change and money gets tight for everyone (even big business) you have to realize that marketing yourself for you current position and for new positions is KEY and should be done daily.
This isn't a suggestion... It's a must. You'll have to market these businesses like your own. The good thing is.. In doing this you'll learn how to market yourself like a small business and in turn be able to do it yourself. From employee to over all consultation. YOU HAVE TO PUT YOURSELF ON A HIGHER SCALE! The world is a market place and you have to let it know you're here in every way possible.

Today is the beginning of the last year of my 30's. Feels kind of crazy to say but my gratitude is great.
I lost so many friends early in my life & I'm grateful to still be here. Even though it doesn't feel like it at times.
My goal in this last year is to get better. Better at music & making it connect with a broader audience.
July 2025 will mark 20 years of me doing music professionally. Longer than some of you have been alive.
I want to show you that you can get better with time. That you can change with time. That it's never the end for you.
