"What does comfort mean to you lately"

It's a question I saw recently that I thought was a good enough question for a nice big post.

I am a man who likes to bring smiles to faces and comfort to people. I am the person more than a dozen people vent to, I am the person that goes above and beyond as much as I can, and while trying to stay modest while honest, I am the mythical "good guy" that you see videos of people raging asking for.

I spend more time making people gifts than I do just about anything else, and more than anything I love the loving things.

Recently through home stress, online stress, scholastic stress, professional stress, moral stress, religious stress, personal stress and romantic stress I have had what I can only call a supernatural event.

I met a woman, a wonderful loving kind woman. A woman who is perfect from head to toe. Who makes everything better. Who makes life feel worth it again. This woman helped me find God.

I was up one night talking to her when things got a bit serious topic wise. And she said some things I didn't know I needed to hear, but her being the Angel she is, she knew. When she said these words I felt such a rush of emotion I almost fainted quite literally, and in the midst of that I felt God touch upon my body and fill me with his glory.

I prayed that night to much relief. I cried, and felt like I hadn't in so long. When I awoke the next day life was good. I was no longer stressed. All those problems went away. I learned very quickly to accept that whatever may be going wrong, God would fix in time for the ones that accept his love. And I realized very suddenly that I had met my wife.

I've never been so sure of anything in my life then that I need this woman in my life. That I need to spend my days protecting and loving her. Not the way most guys you see treating women would. Not to love her with just my body, but with my hold. Not to defile her with the sins of the flesh but to hold her when she cries, and smile with her when she laughs. Through the hard and the easy, through the weak and the strong, through the love and the hate, to keep her safe under my caring wings until the day I die.

This is the kind of woman you don't see but once in time. A woman with eyes with the depth of the deepest oceans. With a voice like a sirens call. With a smile that could attract an angel, and with a mind that even the greatest poets, artists and professors of our world would be jealous of. What would you do for a woman like this? How do you go about treating a woman of this scale right and doing her justice? I'm still yet to find a way to do for her what she deserves. An Angel in mortal form having come to my feet as if delivered by the awesome holy will of God that I was so skeptical of before she came along.

All that to come circling back to the beginning question.

"What does comfort mean to you lately"

Comfort lately to me has meant God and the Angel he delivered to me. It has comforted me to pray every night before bed, and wake up praising God. It has brought me comfort to share verses with everyone I know and try to bring them the love I have felt from God.

Additionally comfort has meant this fine woman. It has meant her happiness, and her smile. It has meant writing poetry in our emotions for her to unravel as our days progress. It has meant holding her heart as close to mine as I am capable of and holding my breath till I match her pace. It has meant making little gifts and planning big surprises. It has meant awaiting her every second until I know she's there, and my heart skipping a beat when I hear her words so vividly.

Comfort has meant dedication to the only thing I've ever wanted to dedicate my life to. Lovingly protecting another. A smile has not left my face for some time now, and I have a feeling I'll be smiling till the end of my days with my Angel holding my hand, and God leading our way.

Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, praise be to love and to peace. May everyone who reads this feel the awesome power of our wonderful God, and find a strong sense of healthy completion in their soul. Thank you God for bringing this Angel to me, and thank you for a beautiful world. Amen.

And I'd like to thank you for being evidence the internet isn't all garbage!

You're insanely sweet, you care, you're polite, you have stellar music taste and have done things for me no one else has, you've made me smile every time my phone buzzes. Most of all you're smart. REALLY smart, which is rare and amazing. It's crazy to me that doom scrolling took me to find someone, and it blows me away even more that I almost scrolled past because of what was previously only a respect of Nirvana, instead of what you have done which is now a Love. I have been listening to them quite a bit since you gave me that playlist and I appreciate it greatly.

Additionally our ideas of what is right, and what is wrong, so far line up perfectly, and that is another rare beautiful thing. You have a kind gentle soul, and I'm very glad I stopped to say hello and pay my respects. It has turned into a friendship that much to my excitement has turned out to be beneficial to both of us. You're amazing, keep up everything that makes you who you are :)

(you know who you are) That took literally 5 hours across the day, included 2 dedicated hours from 10-now, and I am literally nauseous from so much black and white text haha. I'm off to bed, I'll have you know that this IS. NOT. every band I like, or even every band I love. Just every band I could remember that I liked or loved. The actual full list would take weeks of thinking, be at least 10 times larger, and involve much more nausea and probably running to the bathroom to throw up a couple times (I get nauseous easy haha)

My viewer (singular lol) asked me a question this morning which I thought was such a good question that I decided it can only be done justice in the form of a feed post all of itself. The question you ask?

"What got you into Entomology?"

Well that question has a long and great answer.

It all started in late 2019, like many great stories, when we got thrust into lock-down and I had to find myself a cheap, long term, educational and enjoyable hobby. After much consideration I found myself without an answer and without any guide towards another answer. So I sat there for a few weeks bored out of my mind until I found a channel called Exotics Lair here on YouTube. He takes care of tarantulas primarily as well as a couple other kinds of creepy critters, but tarantulas were the one he did more than any. Additionally I found Coyote Peterson, and Ant's Canada. Insects were an interest of my fathers at my age and so I decided "Why not make THAT a hobby? I can do that? It's just bugs right? How complicated could it be!". Well I was wrong. The answer is very complicated, which is why I'm now the proud owner of half a dozen college textbooks on a subject I am no longer studying. I studied it for 3 years, and my primary initial interest wasn't tarantulas, they are arachnids, cool things but not bugs. I fell in love with Hymenoptera! Also known as wasps, and ants for the most part. I studied them in great detail all the way from Army Ants, which had their heads used to close wounds like stitches. To the appropriately named Tarantula Killer wasp, which is a kind of wasp that paralyses it's prey, lays eggs inside of it, and those eggs then hatch and eat the prey alive from the inside out. You can guess what it's prey is, tarantulas!

In recent times I've been more interested generally in Coleoptera, which are also known as- Beetles! God has an inordinate fondness for beetles (that's a book title if you weren't aware). 25% of every species IN THE WORLD are beetles, and 40% of every insect species are beetles. Imagine that, of all the many many species on earth, 1/4 of those are beetles. That is every individual species of bird and lizard and monkey and everything else, 1/4 is a beetle. I think that's insane! I know a lot about a lot of specific beetles but my favorite, would be the Tiger Beetle, I have a whole textbook dedicated to the 2,600 different species of tiger beetle in the world! My favorite one being the species known to us nerds as Cicindela sexguttata, or, the Six-spotted tiger beetle! They live around here and I have pinned multiple of them. At the height of my interest I had over 600 insects caught, researched, preserved and cataloged by Order, Family, and date of capture! I met someone a day or two, still as of yet know little about them (you know who you are haha)

But they inspired me to make another post which I have not in a while, and moreso let the community know me a little better. The Internet is a cruel place to cruel people, but if you're kind and tread on water you'll find that you're gifted with wonderful people. Like the people of NightCafe, a AI art website, whether you like Al art or not, some of my best friends denounce it, you will not be able to deny the amazing community there. And it has taught me to be a little more trusting, and a lot sweeter to people. Unfortunately I have been gifted with a HEAVY dose of ADHD, and a moderate dose of social anxiety. In addition I'm homeschooled so not great at social cues. So here goes nothing on the thing that is me.

I'm sweet I think, extremely passionate about my interests which are Music, Entomology, Pocket Knives, Movies, Writing, Business, Art, and Gym.

Music: I have very wide and deep thoughts on music, please feel free to ask any questions related as it is one of my foremost passions.

Entomology: The study of insects!! I studied it for 3 years and only a couple months ago finally got to use that information to inform someone that cockroaches and ladybugs were not infact related, but belonged to entirely different orders of insects. Any questions below.

Pocket Knives and Business: They tie right in with each other, I went through a traumatic event in 2019 which sent me into an interest zone of self defense, and things related. On top of that my true passion has always been business, and nothing impressed me more than an amazing capitalist, even if they are a bad person I respect a good capitalist. So I want to sell pocket knives for my life. Questions Below.

Movies: Huge movie buff, I've seen over 1500 movies in the past 3 years, and am proud to say that my favorites are Falling Down, Miracle Mile, and Mad Max. Favorite TV show? Mr.Robot. Questions below.

Writing: I've always enjoyed it, especially when it comes to writing for other people, cute letters in fancy calligraphy, with nice inks and my fancy dip pens on parchment paper. Yes I'm a nerd. Questions below.

Art: Art is a huge passion though I'm terrible at actually drawing or painting, I'm good at AI art, and no matter what someone tells you, promoting for AI is intensely hard, and art within it of itself. Questions below.

Gym: I am a huge gym rat. Leg press max, is 1000lbs for 2.5 reps. My bench isn't great but my grip is amazing. I'm really muscular but don't feel like it, all the normal gym bro mental problems. Yes I'm also a jock. Questions below.

I hope this was somewhat insightful. I want to start posting more again, especially since at least one person is paying attention now. As I re-re-re-re-re-reiterated, your questions should go below, I'm happy to answer any questions, I love answering questions about myself, much less awkward than asking questions and testing the water for how far is too far of a question, so my limits, are simply this. #1: Nothing identifying about me that would be considered personal, Location, Name, Socials, whatever. #2: YT guidelines.
