I just need to talk about the CSM Faiz Gear Box that was just put up for preorder! As many of you already know, I'm sometimes known as "the crazy guy with all the Faiz cases" as my custom case videos were some of the first to blow up on my YouTube channel, so I think I should weigh in on this. (^.^')

As usual, details were put up on the CSM Developer's Blog, and they're interesting, to say the least. Firstly, just like with Kuuga's CSM Ichijo Kaoru's phone, the CSM Faiz Gear Box also features a ton of differences from the on-screen prop as the prop was made using a commercially sold item not made by Bandai, in this case, a VGC-7701 gun case. In addition to several design differences (a differently shaped handle, the lack of combination locks, etc...) the case is actually bigger than the prop.

From 23.5cmX32.5cm, the case was upsized to 26cmX36cm. However, the reason they did this was to maintain the belt:case proportions of the show prop, as the on-screen belt was based on the smaller DX toy. While I find this commendable, some have noted that the difference is barely noticeable and would have preferred the case to have been sized accurately.

Most impressively, however, is the fact that Bandai has not only included separate exchangeable belt parts for use with the case, they actually made the icon stickers out of plastic! While stickers would have been more accurate, their durability has been a constant source of worry. Having them be made out of plastic is a rather ingenious solution that solves that issue while looking just as good, if not better.

Well, I think that more or less covers it. From the bad to the legitimately good. Of course, I'll definitely be buying one to compare to my custom case, so do look forward to that video when I eventually get around to it!

WELL, WELL, WELL. Contrary to what some Digimon fans might want you to believe, the SCSA D-Arks must have sold extremely well, far better than the LCD Ver. 15th D-Arks, because, instead of LCD D-Scanners, we now have SCSA DIGIMON FRONTIER D-SCANNERS!!!

WOOH, BABY! Interesting how they're the upgraded versions instead of the base versions (will we be getting Takato's Ultimate D-Ark?), but I can't really complain, as these will look great in my Frontier toy display. (^.^')

Being SUPER CSAs, these will definitely have a full-color screen, animations, sounds, dialogue, evolutions, the works! I can't wait!!! (^o^)

I bought more Dim Cards, and I don't even know why, beyond the fact that I have an attachment to the Digimon that you can get from them. (^.^') Perhaps if they allowed a team of Digimon to fight together instead of just one-on-one... That might actually make raising multiple strong Digimon worth it, because as-is, there is way too little differentiation between one Digimon and another.

When I saw Wandering Witch and saw that they were making an Elaina figure, I just knew I had to get it to display alongside Kino. (^o^)

Alrighty! Quick review of the Marvel Legends Iron Man Nano Gauntlet.

- Pros:

It's everything I want in a gauntlet, feature-wise. It's like Hasbro took a look at all the third-party gauntlets and said... Hm, we can do that! (^.^')

The stones are all removable, the gauntlet makes noises when you insert and remove each stone, pressing each stone causes it to flash and make a stone-specific noise, and it replicates the snap with two different snapping sound effects that alternate! The mechanism is pretty simple but effective. There's essentially two leavers/buttons in the middle finger and thumb that activate the sounds when they're moved sequentially.

- Cons:

The gauntlet is both too big and too small at the same time. As the Mark 85 Armor is supposed to be super-thin nanotech, the gauntlet really shouldn't be much bigger than the average human forearm. However, due to the limitations of it being made of plastic and rubber, it's much bigger than what you see on screen.

That being said, it's still not big enough. Because of the battery compartment, the space in the gauntlet is actually really, really small. Unless you have arms of a really specific size and shape, I can't really see many people being able to wear this one comfortably. For me, I can get my entire forearm in okay, but only at one specific angle. I can't rotate my wrist at all, and it gets really painful and uncomfortable after a while.

In addition, despite the play value this gauntlet provides, Tony wasn't seen using, collecting, or putting in the stones one by one. The "gauntlet" wasn't even used as a gauntlet in the movie. Honestly, I kinda wish they remade Thanos' gauntlet but with all these features included instead.

That being said, they at least had the foresight to make the bottom of the gauntlet flat, so you can display it standing up.

- Conclusion:

Honestly speaking, I don't know if I can readily recommend this one. Despite the amazing features, none of them are technically show-accurate, and the gauntlet itself is kinda uncomfortable to wear unless you have long/thin forearms. Considering the price, I'd only get it if you're in need of a piece to complement the Infinity Gauntlet. (^.^')

You see, this annoys the heck out of me. They're actually going to release Zenitsu's sword in the PROPLICA line with the scabbard because his main fighting style is iaido-based. So, it's not like they couldn't have done it with the previous 2 releases due to cost, design, or materials. I really feel for those who have been collecting the entire line as it's going to make for such a lopsided display.
