Major Drop in YouTube Shorts views/reach

Please look into this sudden Shorts reach issue.
This is not happening only to me — many other creators are reporting the same sudden drop in Shorts views, reach and distribution around the same period.
On my channel, Shorts were consistently getting 30–40K views within the first hour. Then around August 1, multiple Shorts suddenly lost reach at almost the exact same time, and the entire channel's performance dropped sharply.
The important part is that this wasn't a gradual decline. Several videos that were already performing well suddenly slowed down together, and even new uploads are now receiving dramatically lower distribution despite strong viewer metrics. For example, my latest Short has 458% Average Percentage Viewed, yet after 12 hours it had only around 5.4K views.
I've contacted YouTube Support multiple times and spent 10+ days requesting a proper investigation. I understand that Shorts distribution is algorithmic and can fluctuate, but repeatedly calling this a "normal fluctuation" does not explain why multiple videos and the overall channel dropped simultaneously at a specific point in time.
I am not asking YouTube to artificially increase my views. I am asking for a clear, data-based explanation of what changed around August 1 and why Shorts distribution dropped so sharply.
Since many other creators appear to be experiencing similar problems, please don't treat this as an isolated channel issue.
