Named for the original owner/builder and designed by George F. Barber.
Our latest video references This Old House from back in the Bob Villa days
and in 2019 when our house went viral for being for sale it not only caught
our attention but also Bob Villa's website and was pictured as an example
of Queen Anne Architecture. So wanted to share that story link

Get A Room!
Restoring the houses history has been just as important as restoring the house itself and recently Ive been researching the hotels of the original owner Mr. J. A. Beck.
Most recently the Summit House in Creston, Iowa from the 1890s to about 1916 when it was destroyed in a fire and found these postcards on ebay from the time Mr. Beck owned it, postmarked 1909.
It's is also the focus of this weeks video
