Tatsuya Nakadai, one of the greatest Japanese actors of all time passed away last week. I just want to take a moment to honour his memory.
Nakadai was a true titan of Japanese cinema whose voice and passion carried seven decades of storytelling, from the bitter moral battlegrounds of The Human Condition to the burning ramparts of Ran. He poured his soul into every role.
Each samurai, each conflicted man, each tortured king was touched by his uncanny ability to bridge raw emotion with graceful restraint. Beyond his screen legacy, he laid foundations for future generations through his beloved Mumeijuku acting school, leaving not only performances immortal in our minds but a living, breathing tradition of craft in others’ hearts. Though he has left us at 92, his artistry endures; a quiet but resounding echo of the samurai spirit, timeless and deeply human.
His movies have changed my life and I will forever be grateful for his contribution to cinema.
Thank you Tatsuya. Rest in peace.

Hi Guys!
I’ve been informed that some of my videos have an AI dub over them.
I want to make it absolutely clear that I did NOT consent to this.
It appears that YouTube’s automated dub feature has confused my accent with something else and is trying to dub the videos for English speaking viewers.
Im working on fixing this inconvenience. However, in the meantime, If you encounter such issues, just go to the settings and change it back to the original audio.
These are videos researched, recorded and edited by me (a human, hello!) and that has been the case since 2016 (when I started making videos on the internet).
