Instead, the cross represents God’s radical solidarity with human suffering, absorbing violence to break the cycle of retribution. This is the shift from the Scapegoat of Empire to the Savior of the Cosmos. God is the ultimate non-violent one, and the cross is an act of total solidarity with the vulnerable and the oppressed.

We are part of a Universal Network. The Apostle Paul used the phrase "en Cristo" 164 times as a code for a collective unconscious—a cosmic identity that is already in place. Every blade of grass, every marginalized person, and every element is a node in this Christ body. Salvation is not a private, individualistic achievement, but an ontological awakening to this shared cosmic network where everything belongs.

Our spiritual journey often follows a pattern of transformation:

Order: The tribal or colonial Jesus. Safe, patriarchal, and exclusionary.

Disorder: The painful realization that the "Small God" is insufficient and the deconstruction of empire religion.

Reorder: Embracing the Cosmic Christ and a larger, inclusive wholeness.

You cannot think your way into this consciousness; it requires contemplative practice and authentic mirroring. When you look at the marginalized or the natural world with respect, you see the reflection of the Divine. Christ is another name for every thing. Sit. Feast on your life.

Re-encountering the Universal Christ means untangling the Divine from the restrictive boxes of empire, patriarchy, and colonialism. For too long, the Western church limited the Creator's presence to a single human manifestation, creating a religion captive to a white, Eurocentric worldview. This "Small God" perspective ignored the physical universe and indigenous wisdom, reducing faith to a private evacuation plan for a select few rather than a cosmic story of universal grace.

But what if the Divine Presence is as ubiquitous as light itself? While the historical Jesus was a specific Middle-Eastern man acting as the messenger and the map, the Universal Christ is the eternal blueprint that has existed since the Big Bang. This is the First Incarnation: the moment God poured Spirit into physical matter 13.7 billion years ago. Everything visible is an outpouring of God, making the physical universe the First Bible.

This Christ Quanta was already honoured in Native religions, Hinduism, and Buddhism long before colonial systems claimed a monopoly on salvation. No nation or empire owns Him; Christ is the diverse, multicultural human family and the container for the entire ecosystem. We are moving toward an Incarnational faith where matter and Spirit reveal each other through the Universal Flow, shifting from a punitive monarch to "Reality with a Personality."
