It’s been a fun start to the year on the channel! Thanks to everyone coming by and checking out the Mugi/Mochi videos but also the rest of the channel.
I went to Asakusa in Tokyo and took a load of footage but it’s tricky to edit into something I want to share so I might save it for another time. Rest assured there will be new non-short videos coming in the near future 😅

What content do you watch when you come to the channel?? I tried making more Japan videos recently but because of Mochi & Mugi’s success I’m leaning towards rebranding the channel for them. このチャネルの動画の中で何を見ていますか？？普段日本の旅・ツァー動画を載せているんだけど、考えとしてチャネルを犬集中にするかどうかのを悩んでいる。

Which camera should I buy?? I’m torn between these three for a few different reasons.
Pocket 3: Goes without saying, amazing footage and great lowlight for night footage.
X3: I can see myself getting creative with the 3M pole for low flying drone-like shots.
Action 4: Way more rugged than the Pocket 3 and interchangeable batteries. I also like the magnetic features.
What do you think everyone? My goal is for more tour videos but also the chance to get more creative with my shooting/editing skills. Let me know in the comments below!

We’re coming to the end of 2023 already! 😱
The mornings are super chilly and unforgiving if there’s a breeze. Luckily it was a very calm morning resulting in the lake looking very reflective.
There will be another video coming later this week featuring a very nice Christmas market in Tokyo and once I’m on my winter break I’ll be finding some more places in(and around) Tokyo to film for all of you! 😁
I haven’t really had the chance to shoot any snowy scenes apart from the rare snow day so hopefully I can venture north or west to find some nice locations.
If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments!

I’ve recovered after a pretty nasty stomach bug last weekend so it’s time to go and grab another walking tour. 🎥
