The purpose of this dunya is not to chase temporary pleasures, but to worship Allah, strengthen our faith and prepare for the eternal life to come. This world is not our final destination it is a place of preparation for the Hereafter.
يَـٰقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا مَتَـٰعٌۭ وَإِنَّ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ هِىَ دَارُ ٱلْقَرَارِ
O my people! This worldly life is only a temporary enjoyment, while the Hereafter is truly the permanent home of settlement.
(Surah Ghafir 40:39)
Life in this world is a test and every day is an opportunity to come closer to Allah. Through worship, Every prayer, every act of kindness, every moment of patience and every sincere repentance brings us closer to Allah. Let us spend our time seeking His pleasure, following the Qur'an and Sunnah and filling our lives with deeds that will benefit us on the Day we return to Him. May Allah make this dunya a means of earning Jannah Ameen.
