Some moments stay with you forever. ❤️

Watching Abir receive the 2026 Parris Fencing Cup at Bristol Grammar School made both of us incredibly emotional. I’m usually the one who tears up first… this time was no different. 😊 They were the happiest tears.
For the past four years, every Friday has been fencing day, and we have watched him quietly grow through dedication, resilience, and his beautiful never give up attitude.

People often say we’re raising our children. But if I’m honest, Abir has been raising us too. Through him, we have learned a little more about kindness, humility, resilience, and finding joy in the little things.

As he walked across that stage, we didn’t just see our son receiving a cup. We saw the little boy who walked into Reception on his very first day of school. And now, just weeks away from starting Year 7, he’s already halfway through his school journey.
This wasn’t just a proud moment. It was a reminder of how quickly time flies, of everything he has already achieved, and of all the dreams still waiting for him. We have no doubt he’ll continue to make us proud—not because of the awards he wins, but because of the wonderful person he is becoming.

Even as I write this, my eyes are still filled with tears of joy.

So incredibly proud of you, Abir. ❤️

What an amazing way to spend half-term weekend 🎉

On Saturday, Hannah and I took on the Inflatable 5K alongside our boys and their friends, and what a day it was! From giant inflatables and obstacle courses to climbing, sliding, bouncing, and plenty of laughter, it was fun from start to finish.

One of the highlights was definitely the Leap of Faith—a 5-metre jump that pushed us all out of our comfort zones. Watching the kids take it on so confidently was incredible.

If you ever get the chance to do an Inflatable 5K, go for it! It’s a brilliant way to keep the kids active, spend quality time together, and create some unforgettable memories.

We vlogged the whole experience, so stay tuned! I’ll also be sharing more about my Leap of Faith experience in a separate post very soon. 😊
