I've gotten back to an old hobby in Dark Souls 3...
I'm using a default Knight in the high wall of lothric, SL 9. I wait to be invaded by people who invade at low levels with endgame gear, then I obliterate them.
I know it's an uphill battle, but I hope to make it so "noob grinders" (as I call them) are driven out of business. Hard to feed your ego when you're getting beaten up by someone using a default starting class.

Rubicon's Inferno has now reached 100 endorsements on Nexusmods!

Huge thank-you to everyone who's played it, especially those who gave feedback to help improve the mod. Never expected it to be more than a page-4 project with a couple hundred downloads. Really touches me that so many people enjoyed the mod!

Looking forward to a strong 2025 for modding communities all around!

Merry Christmas!

AC6 update: I've been working to get out the final Rubicon's Inferno update. I've also been making (and helping make) two other mods, one of which will make RI look like proof of concept- but that's all in the future. Pretty much stay tuned for that.

EDF update: 𝔽𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕣𝕦𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕠 𝕣𝕖𝕓𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕚𝕠𝕟… 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝔼𝕩𝕠𝕕𝕦𝕤 𝕙𝕒𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕘𝕦𝕟.
I'm excited to 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 announce that work is ongoing on a new overhaul mod for EDF 6 that will be on a similar scale to EDF: Genesis, but far more coherent and orderly. You'll be able to play through some of the missions of EDF 5 as they appeared in Genesis, and will even see some Genesis-exclusive missions to change the tide of war where decisive losses were once had, and mysteries were left unsolved.
Because of modding limitations (as the game is much newer than 5), work is relatively slow. Nevertheless I look forward to getting it out there and giving EDF players a new experience - and getting out a trailer sometime in the foreseeable future.

I don’t often talk about non-joke or modding stuff but I figured I’d just talk about something random for once.

Evidence on the internet is weird. Say someone shares a screenshot of an email… that can be altered with Inspect Element. Anonymous sources could be a cooperating friend with a blacked-out avatar, audio recordings can probably just be convincing AI, screenshots of conversations can *also* be altered with photoshop or inspect element, and actually “credible” sources are just expected to tell the whole truth in every word, with nobody taking into account whether or not they’re lying.

I hate to pull the theory of knowledge card but it does seem strange to me how much we on the internet take for granted.

Idk when it happened but I just now realized EDF Genesis has 60 endorsements. That's a pretty big milestone lol.

Allegedly, YouTube is increasing the “Shorts” max size to 3 minutes. This will also apparently convert any preexisting videos 3 minutes or shorter into Shorts.

This is absurd, YouTube. Count me as one of the many opposing this decision.

I want to take a second to just thank and appreciate everyone who’s given feedback and suggestions for Rubicon’s Inferno. It’s genuinely made the mod better for everyone, the mod wouldn’t be half of what it is without y’all
