Hello everyone!
It's been a while, hasn't it?
I haven't been active here, so I don't know how many people this will reach, but I wanted to make an announcement.


After taking a long hiatus on YouTube, I decided to come back, BUT not on this channel.


As you may or may not know, I had second/third channels with more personal content around 2-3 years ago.
Three weeks ago, I decided to start one up again ‪@leegrceart‬ (youtube.com/GraceLee210).

I'm going to use that channel as a creative outlet since I'm a creative, artistic person.
If that sounds like your thing, then please subscribe or check it out at least- I would appreciate if you guys can help that channel grow and I already appreciate you guys so much for supporting this subtitle channel for the past few years.



I only have a few videos up on there, but I have a lot more coming :)

So, hey guys,,,
You might be wondering where I've been, and I'm sorry I've kept you guys in the dark for so long.
I decided to get back on here and explain a bit before I go hermit again lol

I've become preoccupied by other things and subtitling started to become a chore for me and it was very exhausting and tiring, so I decided to go on an unspoken hiatus after July.
Then September rolled around and I started school. Classes have been taking up a lot of my time, and during the hiatus, my passion for BTS died down. I'm not even on twitter as often as I used to, and I've only become a little more active this past month or so because of Monsta X's comeback. But since Monsta X's promotion time is over, my mind is now more focused on finals and finishing off this semester with decent grades.

My passion for subtitling and translating hasn't died down though. Heck, I'm even majoring in Korean and taking a Korean translation course this semester.
Which brings me into one of the reasons why I decided to make this post.

I have a final project due for my Korean Translation class soon, and I'm subtitling a Monsta X radio show video for it that hasn't been subtitled (as far as I've seen), so I'm able to use it for my assignment.
Of course, I was going to post it on this channel because I don't want all my effort to go in vain.
I just wanted to let you guys know in advance because a lot of you guys might get confused if you see an ENG SUB Monsta X radio show on my channel all of a sudden after being inactive for 6 months.

I probably won't revive this channel anytime soon (other than the project), but I may revisit it someday. I don't want to make any false promises though.

I hope you understand my situation.

...I didn’t even get a notification for this and I didn’t even see it pop up in my subscriptions

I honestly would have subtitled it if I had known. I just kept thinking that there was no BTS content to subtitle

It’s 6 days old, it’s too late to do it at this point, isn’t it

My heart hurts because of what happened to Jonghyun today
I love Shinee so much and I have been a Shawol for such a long time.
I can’t put how I feel into words.
I’m shocked and so sad.
But we have to stay strong because we can’t change what already happened but what we can change is how we go about this.
Let’s stick together and support each other. Talk to and help those who are struggling to get through this.
The last thing Jonghyun would want for us is to go through the same thing.
Please get help if you need it also encourage and emotionally support each other.

I am very sorry, but I can’t subtitle BTS’s new AMAs Bangtan Episode.
I have last minute, urgent things to do for final projects and finals exam week, so I don’t have time to sit and subtitle for a few hours straight to dedicate to subtitling a video.
If BTS releases a video any time this week, I probably will not be able to get around to it unless the video is pretty short (~5 min max)

Hey guys! I finally got the community tab a few days ago so I wanted to try it out
There has been something I have wanted to ask for a while now and it has to do with the Rabb.it sessions I used to do. (Scroll to the bottom if you have no idea what Rabb.it is)
I really enjoy them and I would love to do them from time to time, but I have also seen a lot of people complaining about getting Youtube notifications every single time I do one.
I really wish I was able to stream music videos on YouTube, but due to copyright reasons, that's not possible.
So I need to use Rabb.it in order to freely stream music videos/shows as we watch and chat together.
It's been a really long time since I have done one because I was never able to find time, but once the semester is over, I could probably start doing them again once every couple or few days.

But before I start them I want to know what you guys think about them since I have been getting mixed responses. The purpose of this poll is to see how many people enjoy them or would be interested to join them.
As for the notifications, please leave a comment if the notifications bother you. If there is a majority of people who are opposed to getting a notification each time I post a video about a session, I will come up with an alternative to only notify the people who are interested.

So for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, there is a website called Rabb.it and it is used for streaming videos onto a shared screen while video/voice/text chatting with a group of up to 25 people. (I turn voice/video chatting off). I usually play Kpop videos and occasionally Korean variety shows and everyone just has a fun time and come and go as they please.

If you have any questions or comments about this, leave them in the comment section below because I will be reading them.
