The evolution of our fireplace! It took me a while to commit to a color, but I decided to go light. The shade I chose is a few shades darker than the wall and I love it! So does my hubby who was emphatically against going too dark lol 😅. This space is kind of dungeonous, but painting the fireplace a darker neutral actually warmed it up!
I’ve also been hitting up Goodwill and I scored the floor lamp (pictured back left) for $6!!! I also got a new TV console table for $10, and I’ll be DIYing it soon with a weathered wood finish (hopefully, lol).
Can’t wait to show y’all the full makeover soon 😊.

Hey everyone! 👋🏼 Sooo...did I mention I've been writing a dissertation? 😅 It has consumed my life for the past couple of months, and I'm finally taking a moment to come up for air. Anywho... I wanted to come on here and say that I am slowly but surely doing a living room makeover! The catch is I'm working with a tiny budget 💸, so lots of GoodWill shopping will be happening!
