A quick note on the PSX Index look going forward.
As the channel approaches its first milestone (thank you for that), I’ve taken a step back and looked at what this project has become.
When I started the PSX Index, I was experimenting. I wasn’t sure if this channel would lean toward streaming, let’s plays, or essays. I just knew I wanted to take on the challenge of experiencing all 1,278 North American PS1 games.
Along the way, something clicked.
The PSX Index isn’t about hype or reactions. it’s about reflection, history, and endurance. Video essays are where this project feels most honest, and the presentation should match that.
So I’ve updated the thumbnail style and titles to be calmer, more archival, and more in line with what these videos actually are.
The challenge hasn’t changed.
The schedule hasn’t changed.
The Index continues.
Thanks to everyone who’s been here early. your support helped shape this direction.
Next entry drops tonight at 6:30pm GMT:
The Bizarre Bundle — five of the strangest PS1 games ever released.
See you in the archive.

Entry 0018 is taking shape.
Silent Hill isn't just a game; it’s a permanent part of my psyche. Before the deep dive drops, I want to know: Which of these caused the most "physical" fear the first time you played?

Entry 0008 is live! 📼 Soul Blade brought weapons to the 3D fighter... but did it actually knock Tekken off the top spot back in '96? 🥊

Episode 7 is officially LIVE! 🦖 We’re continuing the 1,278-game sprint with a stone-cold classic: Tomb Raider.
After wrestling with Lara’s tank controls for this episode, I have to know... what was the most 'traumatizing' part of the original Tomb Raider for you?"
The T-Rex jumpscare 🦖
Drowning in 32-bit water 🌊
The actual Tank Controls 🕹️
The Midas Touch death 🏆
Let's discuss in the comments below!

I’ve decided to invest properly in the PSX Index. The Liverpool accent is about to get a major upgrade to a Shure MV7+ next week! 🎙️✨ No more line flubs (hopefully). 🎧🔊
Did anyone else struggle with that specific jump in the first level of Tomb Raider?
Schedule Update:
🗓️ Fri: Tomb Raider 🏺
🗓️ Tue: Soul Blade ⚔️
🗓️ Fri: Adidas Power Soccer 97 & 98 ⚽
🗓️ Tue: Dino Crisis 🦖

Alright, let’s settle this before I finish the Episode 10 script... 🦖
Capcom basically took the Resident Evil formula and swapped zombies for Dinosaurs. But the real question is: Who was the better lead?
Is it the master of unlocking, Jill Valentine? Or the tactical specialist who survived a T-Rex, Regina? 🧟♂️ vs 🥩
