19-year-old singer-songwriter and producer gini ('जीनी') walks down a woody path, humming a tune with the emotions dropped by people, left behind and forgotten.
Introduced to music through family road trips with Harry Belafonte as the soundtrack, she taught herself several instruments starting from the age of 6. With a natural affinity for poetry, gini seamlessly crafts soul-stirring songs in Hindi and English.
Her debut single, ‘falling asleep’, garnered over 35K streams and a Best Debut Artist nomination. She solidified her presence in the Indian indie music scene with a performance at TEDXPICT and releases like ‘Negative Space’ and ‘So Far Away’. After collaborating with Tansen. on ‘Jugnoo’, she took a hiatus to prioritise her education while continuing to produce music for others.
In a significant stride, she recently inked a deal with Molfa Music, the music label under Jugaad Motion Pictures, setting the stage for a captivating new chapter in her musical journey...
