Better working brakes and trued rims with studded tires, as well as a more permanent tune for that configuration were in order! When I let the air out of my rear tube, a bunch of condensate💦 came with it. Definitely summer air 😅🤣😂. The weather seems hardest on my cables, which I oiled and then slathered in Vaseline. Surprisingly, my JB welded ferrule end caps are still holding, but do stick a bit. You can really stretch a cable (pun intended) in that way! 🤣😅😂. Now, I’m feeling eager 🦫to get back out in the snow ❄️.

Mistakes were made. ❄️🚲
I headed out into yesterday's blizzard to test some gear, but the storm had other plans. Between 40mph gusts and a mechanical failure that left me stranded for a bit, this was easily the most brutal ride of the year.
