My name is Alba Ramos and I began this platform in 2010 as a young, new mom. From the start my audience watched me recover my natural hair and change our family lifestyle upon learning of my son’s autism diagnosis. This became the foundation of all my content as my perspective on beauty and health changed. ➡️ fast forward to now… I unfortunately had some personal downfalls in 2022-2023 that drove me away all social media and my content. I thought this would be a temporary break but as I prayed to God for guidance, I felt called to stay away. As of right now I want to thank you who have supported my family and I all these years. Thank you for the time, love and understanding you’ve given me. I hope this is a "see you later" but I don’t know God’s plan for me or if that plan involves a public platform. ✝️

I’ve been noticing about a handful of comments recently after 2 years of no new content. I want to thank all of you thinking of me. I deleted my IG and all social media apps from my phone (except YT) and stopped making content. In short I intended this to be a temporary break because I had emotional breakdowns and personal disappointments that forced me to reflect on how crappy I felt about myself. I tried to put a brave happy face for a long time on social media. I’ve never been the type to cry online or share personal downfalls in realtime. I rather figure it out in private to seek the root problem and solutions first before sharing anything publicly. So that’s my main reason for leaving but as time went on… while seeking for solutions, I found myself feeling defeated, unworthy, and depressed. A new low for me. I later realized my time online from 21 years young to 36 years old messed with my identity. Who I truly am away from my online presence. I’ve always prided myself in having integrity and being humble as an influencer but unfortunately being selective and truthful with my content didn’t save me from the mental harm in social media influencing. I only realized this after stepping away and as a result getting closer to God. Now I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. It’s been 2 years and I have no idea if it’s in Gods plan for me to make content with my new perspective and new found faith in Jesus. I’m waiting for a clear direction. Today I’m happy to say I’m more content now as a wife to Manny and mother of 3 beautiful children. Thank you for reading! 🤍
