Lent is a season of return — a time to turn our hearts back to the Lord with humility, hope, and trust in His mercy.

The Church invites us during Lent to embrace the traditional practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. These acts of penance help convert our hearts and reorient our lives toward God. They remind us that true freedom and joy are found not in ourselves, but in a deeper relationship with the Lord.

Yet the most powerful encounter with God’s mercy comes through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In confession, Christ meets us personally. No matter how long it has been, the Lord always welcomes us back with compassion and love.
