Going to be a bit of a rough day today, especially for my mother. Today is my sisters birthday, she would have been 58. In the last year and a half we have lost my father, a 26 year Veteran with 6 years service in the Army and 20 years in the Air Force and my sister. It's just me and my mother now, and her health has been declining the last couple of years too. Those few that come to my gaming streams and hang out, I will be back at it soon, I just haven't felt like streaming much the past couple of weeks, just been doing some private time gaming and with my mothers recent heart attack before my sister passed away I have been making sure she makes her appointments. It's a bit surreal right now.

Today my sister passed away of Panceratic cancer. The last month or so its been a bit difficult to get on and stream. I will be back to streaming soon, I just dont know when. I will do what I always do, keep gaming. My sister was an avid gamer, she knew first hand that gaming helps with things like this. Right now I have fallen back to my comfort zone, Fallout 4, heavily modded, to keep occupied. I will be back in Conan soon, streaming, but for now I just dont feel like talking much, just playing a game. In the last 1.5 years my father and sister have passed away. Things seem a little surreal at the moment. My Conan Exiles server is still active, if you are playing on it now you are welcome to keep playing on it, that's what it is there for.

My Sister final diagnoses is Pancreatic Cancer, which there is no real treatment for. The only thing remaining to do is to keep her a comfortable as possible.

We were able to talk for a little bit, she knew I was there, she asked me if about Conan Exiles of all games LOL she didn't get into it as far as playing but she knew I liked it and got into the UE5 play testing. My sister was a gamer, she is the one that first roped me into MMO's in the late 90's and we played Everquest, Everquest II and Star Wars Galaxies together for many years. She loved Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online. Many years ago her biggest thing even before MMO's were the original Civilization game, and racing games on the Sega Genesis. I think it was Super Monaco GP was her favorite.

My sister was a gooner like many of us. She hated the body type 1 and 2 crap, and the uglification of women in video games, spoke out about it quite often. She wanted to see good lookin, well designed characters in our games whether male or female like the rest of us. Even though she didn't play it, she loved Eve's design from Stellar Blade. Playing action games just wasn't her thing so she caught the story and stuff from my youtube channel. Unfortunately she hasn't been coherent enough to see Evie StellarBlade: Bloodrain but I know my sister, and she would love the design of Evie.

She wasn't much of a Star Wars fan but loved the older Star Trek, not this new crap that is out today and one show we always talked about every week when it first aired was the remake of Battlestar Galactica. We both loved that show. She has 2 kids and several grandkids and a husband she has been with snice before the end of high-school. My sister turns 59 this year, only 4 years older than me.

In games such as Conan where you an rename followers and such I always rename ones to names that have meaning in my life, some are teachers, some are old friends from when I was in the USAF that are no longer here, some family members that are gone, and yest there are even some loved pets in there too. My sister was known as Lalaminu in Everquest, Everquest II, Start Wars Galaxies and Elder Scrolls Online and every iteration of Lalaminu was a a healer. As long as I can keep playing games myself, any game I play that will have renamable companions, my sister will be among them, always.

Got my computer back a few days ago, however decided to take some gaming time for myself this last week, sort of a refresh. My VTUBE model for Celestrah didn't work out, ended up having to get a full refund. Look at what was promised (the first 2) compared to what they sent (the second 2) The creator kept saying it was fixed that it was my computer and lighting, but sent the same file 2 more times. Had to work with the Etsy store but they backed me and I got a full refund. So, disappointingly, no Vtube models for Celestrah or any of the others :/
