After years involved in what I believe is one of the most troubling family court cases in Canadian history, I share my story, the challenges I faced, and my concerns about judicial accountability, fairness, transparency, and access to justice.

Exposing Canadian Court Corruption
I can’t help but ask the question: what is Assistant Deputy Attorney General Katie Wood doing taking so much time off of work?
Is this going to be her excuse for why she has not gotten back to me, like she told me she would back this past March 2026, when she promised me she would get me a copy of those deficiency letters that were supposed to be included in my family court case at the Kitchener courthouse?
A deficiency letter was supposed to accompany that restraining order application that was commissioned and never signed, yet Court Services and Operations Manager Kerri Rice over at the Kitchener Courthouse accepted it. Or how about being forced to go to a trial without the Trial Scheduling and Endorsement Form ever being filled out, served, and filed, which is a procedural violation of Family Law Rule 17, subrule 11? This form must be filled out, served, and filed before any trial is scheduled, yet this was never filed, and Court Services and assistant trial coordinator Sloane French scheduled the trial anyways.
Ms. Katie Wood is Doug Downey’s right-hand woman when it comes to court corruption and cover-up. Katie Wood is in charge of Court Services across Ontario. Her colleagues continue to ignore me and attempt to silence me, while now the clock has been reset from our conversation for a potential constitutional and human rights violation that Court Services, the Attorney General, and the provincial government did to me from 2022 to 2025.
Katie Wood knows, especially after listening to that phone call from our conversation. She’s attempting to cover up Court Services’ corruption and misconduct. That was not going to happen. So what is she doing? Is she consulting with her colleagues?
If you look at the emails, I got her out-of-office from this year, from May 2026 to August 2026—three months. She’s almost taken off four weeks, so where is Ms. Katie and what is she doing?
Let’s not forget, last year she received a $125,000 raise, totaling her salary to $325,000 a year. Yet this public servant refuses to do her basic duty. All she’s done, in my experience, is engage in Court Services’ corruption and misconduct. She’s a fall person, and she screwed up big-time, and she knows it, and I think her colleagues do as well.
I have a rough draft statement of claim already put together with a team of people who are helping me, but like I said before, here’s the kicker: I don’t want to sue anybody. I just want these public servants, who are paid way too much money, to bare minimum next to nothing, to simply do their job.
This is what Canadians can anticipate potentially being up against: a two-tier, corrupted, broken justice system where you have bigwigs like Ms. Katie Wood in charge of Court Services, engaging in major corruption and misconduct, and she knows it, and she’s been caught. You can confirm that from our conversation, in my materials before the courts, and our conversation that’s gone viral.
So my question is, when are Canadians going to step up and start saying enough is enough and start sharing their experiences with abusive, corrupt, and unfair public servants? These people seem to be trying to fill their pockets and fatten their pensions, as it’s the sky’s the limit.
I’m still waiting for Ms. Katie Wood’s response, but again, another kicker: those deficiency letters don’t exist because I’ve already contacted Freedom of Information. In fact, I’ve got 15 requests pending, most of them. I’ve had appeals through the IPC, and I’ve got a lot of new information that I’m going to be sharing with the public in the coming months and years.
So wherever Ms. Katie is, I’d like to know: where are these deficiency letters that she apparently says existed, and why hasn’t she ever gotten back to me?
