Mathias Schaffhäuser is around in the techno and house scene since 1994, when he made his debut on John Acquaviva's Definitive Records. His current releases appear on GMO – The Label, Hallucienda Records, Suleiman Records and Snork Enterprises, in the past he worked with Souvenir, Third Ear Records., Force Inc., Kompakt and many others. In 1997 he started his own label WARE which released 104 EPs and more than 20 albums until today. His most popular tracks are "Hey Little Girl", a cover version of the well known 80's song, „Nice To Meet You“ and "Coincidance". His 10th album „Singing About It“ was released on Oct 11, 2024, on GMO with a stylistic shift towards indie/art-pop songs, carried by his voice, which has often been compared to those of David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Scott Walker.
