Psalms 23 SONG - Production Notes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxJrb...
This is one of my favorite Psalms ever, as for you, I guess also. I had a good time, enjoyed making this song, writing and tweaking the lyrics. As I listen to the song everyday, I understand the tune and the lady's voice is so worshipful and earnest, it brings tears to my eyes, in the sense of the lyrics, the awesome words that King David wrote 4,000 and some odd years ago.
King David realizes his position as a lowly sheep who needs the divine guidance of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as his shepherd, without whom he would be lost in the sea of life.
This is a good song to spend time in solitude with God, filling your heart with praise and dwelling on his FOREVER goodness, mercy and grace, that we so desperately need and feed on, like hungry sheep. I agree that without God we are absolutely nothing, just dust and paltry air.
May God guide your walk with him daily. Thank you for listening and reading my production notes for this song.
Thoughts on the visual: I love the open pasture and the solitary sheep on the pasture representative of the singular Christian, You and me. The pasture is lush, rich, and inviting and the stream of flowing water is his forever supply of food and drink. I hope you like it too. God is the shepherd of my soul. He takes care of me in every way. He sustains me physically and spiritually. I am forever grateful to Him.
