🚨NEW NAME ALERT🚨 - For 2+ years I've been developing my own event planning tool....Why?
I needed it and couldn't find one that worked.
6-months ago I applied for a trademark and was denied.
So I needed a new name.
Old name: Event Builder
I loved that name. Passionately.
But sometimes a change is forced on us.
And this is one that I'm incredibly excited about!
Introducing Ripluo - Event Planning Tool
"Ripluo" is the combination of letters from three different words.
ri-pl-uo
"ri" from Ripple: Because every event should make a splash and have ripple effects on the attendees.
"pl" from plan: Because great impact requires solid planning.
"uo" from the Greek word Pistuo: Meaning to put your full faith or trust in something.
Ripluo is a platform you can trust to plan events that create ripples.
There are TONS of new features and a much cleaner experience using it.
If you tried the old system, your account can been migrated. (it hasn't yet)
You can log in to the new platform immediately by creating a new account (then if you want to continue using ripluo - and need your event information transferred over - I can help with that.
New tutorial videos will be coming!
It's still being built out and paid accounts are not ready yet.
Ripluo has updated (but similar) pricing structure.

NOTE: I'm using the system myself to plan everything from large conferences with multiple days, breakouts, and thousands of people - down to intimate weddings. The new system is also still being built out. If you encounter something that doesn't work 100% correctly - please let me know!

A month and a half ago I got a text from a buddy of mine.
We worked together 10 or so years ago and have stayed in touch, mostly on social media.
He had been asked to emcee a conference for a group he’s been working with.
He wanted some quick icebreakers and activities he could lead to:
- start the conference
- start back from breaks
- jump start the energy
We jumped on an hour-long call and after asking some questions I was able to give some recommendations.
Fast forward to the event, it happened, and this weekend I texted him asking how it went.

Here’s 3 quick lessons we can all learn from this interaction:
- Share on social what you’re doing (people will remember it)
- Reach out to people you know, like, and trust to ask questions when you need ideas (he did and I need to do this more)
- Put those ideas into action (or it does no one any good)
