I have officially wrapped up the Long Form Series of my Nepal trip with a 'Things I wish I knew before my first International Trip' list. I go into a bit more detail than I did in the handful of shorts I posted a while ago, and tagged on a few more tips that people have asked about in the comments of the rest of the series. It felt appropriate to post some of my favorite photos from the last few days on the road before I flew home.
The scale of this place is still difficult to put into words, and photos really can't convey how much these mountains absolutely tower above you.

October 8th marks the *10 Year Anniversary* of me making Youtube Videos about Motorcycles.
I started this channel Oct. 8, 2015 to be the home of the video diary of the Pilgrimage.
I made a couple of very cringe videos painting my helmet, getting new luggage and general preparation for a trip I thought I would only get to do once in my life. I lived off my 1980 Suzuki GS850, lovingly named Lazarus, for two and a half months for the Summer of 2016.
I knew I wouldn't be able to keep a journal reliably, but I've always been comfortable around cameras, so I figured I'd make a video diary and edit them together when I got home.
I saw Youtube as cloud storage for those videos so I would never lose them to a hard drive crash.
I never thought anyone would watch them. I never thought I would ever get to do a long motorcycle trip like that ever again either.
Here we are 10 years later and I've now been to every state in the lower 48 of the US on a Motorcycle (I'll get to you Alaska gosh darn!), I've had incredible opportunities to visit other countries on motorcycles, and together we've created an incredible community <3
I'm so so grateful for the crazy butterfly effect the decision to make this channel has had on my life, and how much richer it is with all of you in it.
Here's to many more years of adventure and spending more time outside than inside!

Happy Father's Day Everyone! I was very fortunate to get to spend this week with my parents.

I only get to spend a few weeks a year with my parents so I try and treasure them as much as I can when they happen.
