Hi there hello my name is Ryan George and I make comedy videos where I talk to myself and also I am the Pitch Meeting guy. For business inquiries: ryan@28thave.com
First of all, I want to say a heartfelt thanks for all your wonderful messages about my dad. They've helped more than you know.
I'm still aiming to start making videos again in the new year and I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
Until then, here's a short film I made with my buddies Sam and Brandon at @MovingMindStudio which screened at the Just For Laughs festival over the summer.
It took home the coveted "wow this sure screened at this festival" award.
I am devastated to share that my beloved father passed away a few weeks ago at the young age of 67 after a sudden battle with cancer. From one day to the next, he went from being completely fine to being told he had weeks to live.
He was the best dad, husband and grandfather. He was always so kind, generous and supportive. He had a quick wit, a wicked sense of humour, and put all of himself into every project he took on.
He instilled in my sister and I a strong sense of right and wrong, taught us to be good people and to work hard. Above all else, he built a strong family founded on love. These are values that we are determined to pass along to our children as well.
We will forever miss him and truly can’t believe he was taken from us so suddenly. We were really looking forward to several more decades with him by our side.
I know that my dad was proud that I somehow made a career out of bringing some laughter into an increasingly dark world.
And so, even though I don’t feel very funny right now, I do plan on getting back to work when I can… because I know that’s what he would want. I’m aiming for the new year- and hoping the YouTube algorithm will be as understanding as I know you all will be.
I love you forever, papa. I’m so sorry this happened to you.
