Above all else, know thyself! One thing that changed my life is giving up the need to seek and take advice. People will advise you based on their own viewpoint and perspective. But that’s all it should be taken as, a perspective. We are conditioned to believe that other people who are seemingly “ahead” of us are wiser and somehow know what we need to be doing to improve ourselves. Wrong! Though advice may be well intended, each individual has a limited viewpoint based on their own experiences. These experiences may be valuable in the grand scheme of life, but there is no one size fits all pathway to self actualization. Other times, people will offer you warnings and ghost stories about successes people never achieved, disguised as advice. This can plant seeds of self doubt, so babe don’t fall for it. Of course there are times when honoring another person’s perspective is fitting. But Nobody’s perspective is more valuable than your own. We were all given unique experiences for a reason and you are fully capable and worthy of trusting yours 🤍 #happysaturday
