I'm a professional pet portrait artist. Murphy came into our lives recently. He was abandoned or lost, but no one came forward, so we adopted him. He was a senior teacup Yorkshire Terrier. 2.75 pounds of bossy attitude! He had a lot of serious health problems. He was just so precious, we had to share the joy of Murphy. He was spoiled rotten, had a unique personality and some strange demands.
Murphy was little big brother to Lily, Leo, and Elvis. (Sadly, Murphy passed away suddenly on 1/16/2026, but I will still be uploading Murphy videos.) Please subscribe to get notifications on new funny and cute dog videos, and dog life videos featuring Lily Pearl (Curly White Miniature Schnauzer), Elvis (very large Yorkie), Leo (Curly Black Miniature Schnauzer), Murphy (toothless micro teacup Yorkie) and now Ralphie (teacup Yorkie puppy). Stop by often for new smiles, giggles, and cuteness overload! We hope they'll all make you smile and laugh when you're having a bad day...or a good day!

I have some more Murphy news. In loving memory of our precious baby Murphy, a few days after he passed last month, I ordered two life-size custom Murphy stuffed animals...One standing and one sitting. I've never ordered anything like that before. I have gotten a sneak peek of one of them just this morning, and it looks really good in the pictures. I'm looking forward to seeing them in person. I will do a reveal or review of sorts once they are both delivered. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of Murphy and the sweet memorial marker we ordered for him.
Thanks so much to everybody who subscribes to our channel and comments on the videos. Your kind words and sharing laughs with you has made all of this much easier to get through. Let's keep smiling and sharing the good times. ❤️🤗

We just got Murphy's DNA results back in. He was 100% Yorkshire Terrier. We also found some relatives all over the USA. The closest was 30% shared DNA.

Elvis' story: Elvis had been with at least 3 people temporarily before we ended up with him as a puppy. He was brought to us by a family member who was given Elvis in a parking lot by a stranger. Our only other dog at the time, Cynthia, ended up passing away just weeks after Elvis came along, so Elvis was an unexpected blessing and comfort. There is a video uploaded of when they first met. Elvis is a bit of a wild child. He gets into trouble doing things he shouldn't do and being destructive with certain things like blankets and toys. The absolute worst thing he's ever done is get into a situation where he had to have a very expensive surgery called a scrotal urethrostomy. I'm not going to go into the details, but basically, they had to remove his male part because of what he did. Of all the dogs we've ever had, just for this one incident, Elvis wins the prize of "most unpredictable" (among other things 😉). We love him like crazy. He has such an amazing imagination. He's such a goofball. He loves to run after things. He chases airplanes in the sky (and bugs, and birds, etc). He pretends inanimate objects are out to get him, so he attacks them (Daddy's office chair is his archenemy.) He's also a snuggle-bug and so friendly with kids, other dogs, and people. His energy is boundless. Never a dull moment with Elvis. 🥰😁

I have heartbreaking news. Murphy is gone. Murphy unexpectedly passed away early this morning. I took him to the ER around 3am because he woke me up, struggling for air. He was almost gone by the time I got him there. They tried everything to get him back, but it wasn't meant to be. I can't believe he's really gone.
We were optimistic and hopeful to have years with him, but we're grateful for the 6+ months we had. We were blessed to love him and be loved by him. And, I'm so glad we took so many videos of him so we can celebrate his precious little life and the joy he brought everyone who saw him.
Update 1/16/26: Everyone has been so sweet but I need to step away until I get myself together. Then, I'll come back and read everything when I'm not so upset. Thank you so much. I'm so glad I got to share the joy of Murphy with you all before he passed. I will share the rest of his videos when I can.
Update 1/17/26: Thank you so much to everyone for the sweet comments and condolences. Murphy was an amazing soul, and I wish he could've been with us much longer. But, it wasn't to be.
I have many more videos that I can upload over time. I'm so glad I took them. I wish I would have taken even more. (Take more videos of yours). Hopefully, Murphy can still make as many people smile as possible. He was our little blessing and it made us happy just to look at him. You could be having the worst day, and all you had to do was look at those sweet eyes looking up at you, or watch his cute awkward dance, or even have him growl that tiny growl at you, and suddenly, you felt so much better. How could you not? My favorite was when he would say "Meh" trying to talk to you. I called him my magical puppy. We really wanted to share that Murphy joy with others. I think it's nice that continuing to make people feel good (even for a minute at a time) will be his legacy. He was the best little man. I will resume uploading videos soon. I think maybe it will help me deal with his loss, because I need to see that sweet little face, watch him dance, and just be Murphy. A little Murphy is better than no Murphy at all, and smiles and laughter are good medicine.
Thank you all again. It does help to know that so many good caring people are out there. Bless you.

Update on Murphy's kidney disease. I just heard back from the vet about his bloodwork. Overall, his kidneys are doing better than 3 months ago. The creatinine is way down, but the BUN is up about double what it was. So, instead of stage 3, he's probably at a stage 2 now. I may need to change his diet to get better numbers. I just hope the numbers stay where they are or get better from here on out. ❤️🩹 Thanks so much for your caring and prayers.

Update 2/4/26: DNA results are in! Please see the newest channel post from today.
We're doing a dog DNA test on Murphy. We'll share the results soon! If you have any guesses about the possible results, please post below.
His mouth is so tiny, I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to swab his cheek with that big swab. I think I got it, though. It's to test for breeds, medical issues, traits, and possible relatives.
