They have successfully reached out to families affected by disasters and helped them rebuild their homes and schools. They also place a strong emphasis on skill building, planning, and communication to promote long-term resilience.
As they celebrate their 32th anniversary, the team at SEEDS is more determined than ever to continue their mission of helping communities across Asia build a safer and more sustainable world. Their goal is to work towards a future where communities are better equipped to handle the challenges of climate change and natural disasters.

Equipping communities with safety skills!
During a one-day #Training of Trainers (#TOT) on '#earlywarning system' for #volunteers and community members, we focused on information dissemination, disaster preparedness and utilisation of existing resources for community rescue and #safety. The session comprised themes such as, identifying village hazards, documenting the early warning system and building skills in search & rescue and #firstaid.
Our goal? Empowering the Village Task Force on Community-Based Early Warning System!
