Bring your camera📷- Zabriskie Point has one of Death Valley’s most beautiful views

From the overlook, you’ll see sculpted yellow and brown badlands. At the heart of it rises Manly Beacon. This 823-ft peak is named after one of the first Gold Rush pioneers.

This area gives a beautiful glow at sunrise and sunset, making it very busy at those times so plan accordingly.

🚘Just a 15-minute drive east from Furnace Creek Visitor Center
🚶‍♀️ ¼ mile paved walk from the parking lot
🥾 Trails nearby: Badlands Loop, Golden Canyon, Gower Gulch, Red Cathedral

We are getting ready to do some hiking at Yosemite National Park. One of my fav resources when planning big national park trips is the National Geographic Trails Illustrated Topographic Park Maps. The amount of detail is amazing which helps planning for trails that are in the same area of the park so much easier
