Our journey continues on Wednesday, with History of Humankind's 10th episode. Thanks to all who've joined us along the way!

We're proud to announce Wednesday's episode features some incredible images of Lucy's discovery, kindly provided by the Institute of Human Origins to mark the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking find.

Lucy lived over 3 million years ago. She was a daughter, and a mother.

So, just how long have our ancestors lived in families? And why do we have them at all?
