I created cNOMADIC to help filmmakers like you gain the confidence to create with intention. For me, filmmaking has always been about more than just gear—it’s about storytelling with purpose and precision.
Through this channel, I share what I’ve learned over years of shooting documentaries, corporate films, and narrative projects around the world. You’ll find hands-on workshops, real-world breakdowns, and practical insights that blend technical mastery with creative exploration.
Whether you’re filming across the globe or in your own backyard, I’m here to help you turn technical knowledge into creative freedom.

Just dropped the new video on STOPS and using a light meter — and I wanted to share a little BTS with you here.
I’ll be honest… I resisted buying a light meter for a long time.
I’ve used false color for years. It works. It’s fast. It’s reliable.
But once I started thinking in stops instead of just IRE… everything changed.
Lighting became less about “getting exposure right” and more about designing contrast intentionally. I can now measure the exact relationship between highlights, shadows, and background — and recreate it consistently.
I genuinely wish I had started working this way sooner.
Quick question for you:
Do you use a light meter?
• Yes, all the time
• No, false color is enough
• I’ve been thinking about it
I’d love to know where you’re at. Let’s build this skill together.

I’m currently filming for a client on a 7 days cruise along the Gulf of Mexico. Today we reached a small island off the coast of Honduras. I’ll try to do a live or a full video in the next couple of days about this project and the challenges of filming on a cruise ship. If i don’t have good connection I’ll post once I’m back on the main land. Here is a little preview of the solution I came up with!

Bringing a creative vision to life requires more than just a good idea – it takes skilled cinematography to translate that vision from concept to screen. Whether working on a small project or a large production, the expertise of a cinematographer is essential. They understand how to use lighting, framing, and movement to tell a story visually, capturing the mood and emotion of each scene. Good cinematography brings depth and nuance, making every shot more impactful. By investing in cinematographic talent, we can elevate our work, ensuring our storytelling resonates powerfully with audiences, no matter the scale of the project.
