What makes it even more exciting is that my other short films are starting to get noticed too. This milestone has given me so much confidence and motivation to keep creating, experimenting, and telling even bigger and better stories.

This is a film I’ve wanted to make for a long time. I had imagined the locations, searched for the right places, even looked for the perfect prop car, but for many reasons, I was never able to make it happen.
Now, with the help of AI, I finally did.
All of the “production” and filming was created using Seedance 2.5. But it was far from a smooth process. It took a lot of hard work, countless generations, failed attempts, and constant adjustments to get the shots as close as possible to what I had in my head.
Then came post-production, and that part felt exactly like filmmaking always has for me: editing, color grading, sound design, sound mixing, pacing, and obsessing over every little detail. I put all of that work in myself.
One of my biggest goals was actually to erase as much of the recognizable “AI look” as possible. I was even willing to sacrifice some image resolution and sharpness to make it feel more organic and cinematic.
Because ultimately, I don’t want you thinking, “I’m watching an AI movie.”
I want you to forget about how it was made, get lost in the film, and focus on the story.

I’ve seen some people call my recent AI film “AI slop” or “dumb,” and some refuse to even watch it simply because it was made with AI.
That’s okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But for me, AI is simply another filmmaking tool I use to tell stories.
I’m a traditional filmmaker. If you look through my channel, you’ll find many short films I’ve made through traditional production with real actors, cameras, crews, locations, and all the work that comes with filmmaking.
Using AI doesn’t suddenly make my ideas, writing, directing, editing, or storytelling less creative. The tools changed. The filmmaker didn’t.
Remember when photography was first introduced, people believed it would kill painting and argued that photography wasn’t “real art.” Photography didn’t kill painting. Cinema didn’t kill photography. Digital cameras didn’t kill film. CGI didn’t kill practical filmmaking.
New tools rarely destroy creativity. They give creative people new ways to express it.
You don’t have to like AI. You don’t have to like my film. But I hope people will judge the story and the film itself, rather than refusing to watch it because of the tools used to create it.
At the end of the day, technology is a tool.
The story still has to come from somewhere. And for my films, that somewhere is me. Thanks for everyone who watched it and enjoyed it.

My new short film, LIFE METER, is finally out.
This is a film I’ve wanted to make for a long time. I had imagined the locations, searched for the right places, even looked for the perfect prop car, but for many reasons, I was never able to make it happen.
