We imagine a world where everyone has a place to call home. Each day, we work to fight homelessness by giving it a face while educating individuals about the systemic issues that contribute to its existence. Through storytelling, education, news, and activism, we are changing the narrative on homelessness.
Invisible People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about homelessness to create policy change for more affordable housing and support services.

Today, Luke and his wife live in their own apartment in Los Angeles. They are no longer homeless, and they are no longer using drugs.
Housing changed their lives.
I’ll be sharing Luke’s updated story this week on our YouTube channel. In some ways, it may be even more powerful than the first video I filmed in 2018 because we now get to see what happens when someone who has survived years of homelessness finally gets a home.
Luke talks candidly about the challenges he and his wife went through to get into housing, what life is like today, and what he wants politicians and service providers to understand.
When I first met Luke in 2018, he was homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. When I found him again four years later, he was living under a bridge.
Today, Luke has a home.
Seeing that transformation is incredible. It feels like a miracle, but it’s also proof that we can prevent and solve homelessness.
