🤍 (｡•́︿•̀｡) 💭 Sometimes things don’t go to plan. 2025 taught me that the goals you set can take a very different turn… and that’s okay.

✨ At the start of last year, I was ready to scale and grow in a big way, but looking back at what truly brings me joy, I realised I wanted something slower, softer, and more creative ( ´▽｀ ) 🌿

( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ) ✨ So as I enter 2026, I’m choosing a gentler path. No studio, a move to the countryside, more time to create, and limited, special little releases made with love.

💭 I don’t have it all figured out, and that can feel scary, but deep down I know this is the right next step.

🤍 Thank you to every Marshie, collector, supporter, and kind soul following along. I can’t wait to bring you with me into this next chapter.

ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵) Four years ago, in 2021, I created my very first plushie — Bumblebutt, the little chubby bee. 🐝✨ This was the very first generation of Bumblebutt as a plush toy! (You can actually watch that vlog right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0x2m...)

Looking back, I think I was so over-excited about the idea of having my own plushie that I didn’t spend as much time perfecting the design as I would now. I approved it super quickly. Over the years, Bumblebutt has gone through a few stylistic changes to make him even cuter and more true to the Katnipp world.

One of the biggest design choices I’d change from that first version is the use of solid black. I’ve actually never used pure black in my illustrations — I usually stick to soft browns or dark greys to keep everything in the Katnipp pastel palette.

He’s also gained his signature chubby little eyebrows over the years (they make me laugh every time I see them 🥹). So this time around, I wanted to use softer pastel fabrics to match the modern Bumblebutt and make sure his character looked just right — eyebrows and all.

I also took it a step further and switched to a fluffier plush fabric, which makes him extra floofy and cuddly! ✨
