Zan's Smile

Deeds go unpunished,
Prayers go unanswered,
The man is famished,
Yet, heart is still to be mastered.

Sun burns the land,
And boils Ocean The Grand,
Wind howls through the street,
To their homes they retreat,


Lying down, looking at the ceiling
Wiping the unshed tears he's not feeling,
Gets up, walks out, and looks up at the sky
And just whispers... "Why?"
